Internet was great for a hotel around 10Mb/s. Remote control AC. Nice location with a 5 minute walk to Paseo La Galleria, beautiful shopping center with 3 stories of outdoor dinning as well as an indoor food court if you want something quick. Another 3 min walk to Del Sol Shopping center with a row of outdoor dinning and high end indoor shopping stores.

Located in the city centre, next to the restaurants and commercial area, Villa Floreal Hotel Boutique features an outdoor swimming pool, meeting facilities and BBQ facilities in Asuncion. Location is unbeatable - in a great (and safe) part of town, yet very quiet, with several good pizza places and cafe/restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Having the pool (literally) outside your door is obviously fantastic! Breakfast included a very wide selection: omelette or scrambled eggs, and the usual selection of toast, ham, cheese, fresh fruit cocktail, croissants and other cakes, and water, juice, tea and coffee. Our room, No. 4, was very large (King bed), comfortable with a great shower, and also had a small kitchenette with a microwave and a mini-bar stocked with beer and water. Although we didn't use them, the hotel had a small bar, a small gym and two beautiful sittings rooms, full of art and the owners antiques and memorabilia, obviously collected over many years.

Aspen Hotel offers practical town accommodation downtown Asunción, 15-minutes drive from Silvio Pettirossi Airport. The place was really nice and the staff was really friendly and the facilities were clean.
