Pod Brooklyn, hotel in Brooklyn

The Pod Hotel Brooklyn is located 2113 feet from the Music Hall of Williamsburg and 3169 feet from State of New York – East River State Park.

The hotel was located in a great area in Brooklyn. I checked into my little room and I went out to dinner. Several great restaurants on the street. The room was small- and so was the room rate. Perfect for a quick visit to see my grandchildren. Also the room was very clean, nice and cool, and very comfortable

FAQs about hotels in Brooklyn

The Giant of New York

Immortalized in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were its own city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!

The borough is connected to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It's also connected to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the northeast, Brooklyn Bridge Park has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while southeast is the huge Prospect Park.

On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighboring Queens.

At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Renovations are underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden roller coaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.

Cheap Brooklyn hotels are great alternatives to accommodations in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.

Brooklyn is my home town, so im very familiar with how to get around. This hotel happen to be walking distance to one of my favorite bargin stores of all time. This hotel has a bus stop right in front of it that take you express into the city. During my stay i would walk the few block to the train station and once i was done with my day in the city i would take the express bus straight to the hotel, what a luxury. I always enjoy my time in New York !

Location, location, and price! Great bargain for Williamsburg in central Brooklyn. Everything worked, staff are friendly, bed is comfortably firm, on-site facilities are nice. Walking distance to subway and buses, lots of shopping (best egg/ham/cheese sandwich at Have A Bagel!). However the name "Pod" is accurate: the toilet is in the shower, the only chair is a metal stool, everything is close together -- not the place to lounge in the hotel room. But it's NYC so get out!

The hotel is in the center of Downtown Brooklyn, which means it's close to all sorts of local restaurants, food courts, and public transit. The area felt safe, even at night. The flavored water near the lobby entrance was nice, especially if you're settling in or on the go. The Phillips mood-changing light was a nice addition to the room, and helped me fall asleep at night. The bed was large and comfortable. The even rooms in the hotel was very clever.

The hotel is very nicely maintained, and they serve an exceptional buffet breakfast. The Red Hook Lodge is located very close to MSC Brooklyn Cruise Port and Station Island Ferry, and Lobster Pound Eatery, for excellent lobster rolls, and shell food. My recommdations to management is to add coffee, tea, service 24/7. Like Hampton Inn. Your customers will greatly appreciate the added coffee tea service.

This was the cheapest option we could find, when searching for hotels, and with a hotel minimal modern feel. Was very accurate with the pictures we saw. Even tho is in Brooklyn, is super near to the metro, and has everything you need, like supermarkets and restaurants. All the staff are really nice people, and super helpfull all the time. The Pod is smack in the vibe of upmarket Brooklyn, with a shocking array of restaurants at your doorstep. In fact, some of NYCs hottest restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is also a 6 min walk to the closest Subway station. The rooms are of course pod size but with everything you need, including daily cleaning.
