Beautiful little town, just not a lot to do. It's quiet and relaxing. However, it's not too far from Cork if you're looking for more things to do. So we stopped at Cork before heading to Cobh for the night. The pub we went to in Cobh was great though and was lively! Lovely little coastal town with parking and good traditional Pubs like Kelly’s Bar well worth a visit you can leave the car behind and hop on the train into Cork it’s only a short trip away. Then you can shop away to your hearts content. I imagine that is a great option for the Cruise ship passengers when they visit. Local businesses lacked the customer service mentality that seems prevalent throughout Ireland. Very few dining options, most of them full. Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do...
Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do mainly concerned with history of the town. It is associated with the Titanic, but amazingly the infrastructure for the big liners is still there: the White Star Line and Cunard offices are still there as is the train station which brought so many travellers to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and the town is very easy to get around. The only problem is the hilliness of the town. Also Cork city is very close by.

The location is a few minutes from downtown Cobh. The property is tightly packed with narrow views of the harbor. The room, breakfast and the staff were just great and we would certainly stay there again should the opportunity arise. Inver is about a one km walk from the town centre of Cobh and the owner gave us lots of tips for sightseeing, pubs, restaurants and souvenir hunting (thank you!). I strongly recommend Inver.
