Detta 4-stjärniga lyxhotell har utsikt över en privat, ostörd trädgård och erbjuder 2 restauranger, ett eget gym och 2 solrum. Tunnelbanestationen Russell Square ligger 4 minuters promenad bort. The Montague was a cosy, elegant and friendly base for my trip to London. The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Megan explained the company policy is to make women traveling by themselves comfortable in a room overlooking the garden, away from the lift and quite spacious. The restaurant serves beautiful food and the bar has a pianist in the early evening. The location is perfect for exploring, just 10 mins walk from the theatre district and Covent Garden and lots of transport options. If you walk to the end of the street, you will find Russell Sq. There is a lovely Italian Cafe where I had breakfast under the trees. Thank you Megan, Sebastian and Georgia for making my stay special.

Superb attention to detail in the rooms is obvious from the free standing tub to the fixtures. The paint choices are elegant and relaxing. Fresh baked cookies delivered on a tray in the afternoon. And, most importantly, the food. Make sure to go and invite friends or sit solo and enjoy the great love and care they put into their menu, spirits and wine. Start a conversation and you'll quickly realize it's love for these things that makes the place what it is. And a lot of determination of course. If I lived in London this would be a regular spot for me. Checks all the boxes.

Such a nice art-deco style hotel. Professional staff and excellent service. Good dinner. Our tower room was unique.
