I really appreciated my stay in Starlight Inn. The place is very quiet, located on the top of a mountain with great views of the Andes; not to mention the company of Rocky (the hostel's llama). Victor Negret, the manager and owner, was so helpful and nice, prepared me delicious and well-served breakfast and dinner with so much care and love. I ended up extending my stay because it was very pleasant. A great plus of Starlight Inn is that you have coffee\tea available at all times and also bikes included in the price. It's just so much value for the money. Thank you for your hospitality, Victor, I'll definitely recommend your place to anyone I know and hope to come back soon.

Hostal Taita Cristobal is a recently renovated guest house in Isinliví, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. This was day 1 for my gf and me coming from the quilatoa loop trek. We were so tired arriving but was very nice to be welcomed by the staff of this place. The room was simply but that was exactly what we needed; a place to crash after a long days hike. The view from the porch was breathtaking. The dinner and breakfast were awesome. We ordered a couple box lunches for day 2 of the quilatoa loop trek. I couldn't have asked for anything better to fuel us on your trek. Thank you! You guys were great!

Hotel Rosim Cotopaxi is situated in Latacunga and offers a terrace. The property has city and inner courtyard views. Wonderful and helpful staff. Helped with local tours, around town and airport shuttles to Quito. Definitely recommend for the area, restaurants and cafe and businesses around, bus station also walking distance. Good wifi/shower/private room. Owners treated me like family and could see everyone felt welcomed there. Would return to!

Hostal backpackers is set in Chugchilán and features a shared lounge. With quiet street views, this accommodation features a patio. The owners are the nicest people in the world who will give you an authentic experience. It was their dream to open a hostal and meet other people with other cultures, so they did this at an older age and combine 4 jobs to pay for it... The facilities are basic but all clean and worthwile the price. Our breakfast was one of the best so far in Ecuador. The lunch box we asked was even more amazing (a big box with fried rice, omelet, vegetables,...). There is a little rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the sun and the view over the mountains.

It is a wonderful place located among volcanoes. From here I went to climb the Cotopaxi volcano, an amazing experience I recommend to all. In the afternoon we enjoyed doing a BBQ. The location is great as it is walking distance from the bus terminal and the market! The owner has been extremely helpful giving me tips and advice for my day hikes to Quilotoa and Cotopaxi. I recommend as a stop if you plan those hikes, you will also meet people to team up with if you are looking for buddies :).
