This hotel in Bayerisch Eisenstein offers an on-site ski school and ski rental facilities, as well as a spacious spa area. A beautiful & peacefully located, family run hotel with wonderful leisure facilities. Plenty of parking, but it is walkable from train station, although a weary traveller can use the bus that stops nearby or the hotel will arrange transfer. Built by current family to serve ski & Winter sports visitors, Hotel Brunnenhof is equally well suited to the Summer visitor with wonderful walking & exploring on the doorstep. Czech Republic border is moments away. Not so many restaurants or shops open in Summer & the village will be generally gearing up for Winter season, but we loved that the whole area was quiet & peaceful. (Check out the Pizzeria for the best pizzas we've ever eaten! & The Smugglers Hut near the railway station serves good Bavarian food & beer & is where the locals hang out!). Hotel Brunnenhof has a beautiful leisure complex, with exceptional pool, Turkish bath & sauna facilities. Spa treatments also available. Breakfast buffet was wonderful & the owners so friendly & helpful. We had a room with big balcony dressed with beautiful geranium flowers & a view of the Bavarian Forest. Perfection. We plan to visit again one day.
