The serenity, cold wind from lake Nesseir, peaceful environment, good food, positive vibe, and rustiness that you can have at places run passionately by families and owners like Habib. Loved the campfire by the lake and endless cups of Sudanese coffee prepared by Fufa throughout our stay. The staff really tries hard to make the trip rememberable. This place is for those who want to enjoy Abu Simbel at their pace and not part of fast paced tour group. In our entire Egypt tour, we found Abu Simbel as the most majestic of all so staying here was really worth it.

The location is just 15 minutes away from Abu Simbel and the staff will go beyond their way to help you with anything you need. The team and Seraj was so supportive to cater for our food requirements and arranging tickets.

Our stay in Abu Simbel was simply sublime. Before arriving in Egypt we chatted with Safari to arrange transport after our stay (from Abu Simbel to Luxor with stops at Philae temple, Kom Ombo and Edfu), every question we had about the temples, transport, food in the region, etc. were answered/arranged in a timely fashion. When we arrived in Abu Simble our host was gracious enough to welcome us at 8 AM in the morning! He showed us our room, brought us some tea and told us to get some rest after getting up at 4 AM. When we were rested he told us the best time to visit Abu Simbel temple and the best way (on foot) to get there. He also offered us tickets for the light show at night. The next morning the arranged transport arrived at 5 AM so we had to say goodbye to our very kind, jolly and warm-hearted host. Just want to add that the arranged transport couldn't have gone any better! We had a great time visiting the temples at our own pace and an air-conditioned car to jump into at any time. Safari guest house, thank you for your recommendations and all the help. You are simply amazing, we are very grateful. Keep in mind : Egyptian bathroom standards differ from Western standards. Apart from that little thing this house and it's host are a one of the better options for your stay in Abu Simbel.

Superb hotel located in the city center of Abu Simbel from a walking distance to the temple (20min walk but you can take a taxi if you want) and next to the bus stop to go to Aswan. The welcoming was great and the people are very helpful! Rooms are clean with good wifi connection. Breakfast is possible after your visit of the temple
