The cabins are very comfortable and well equipped. There is a breeze at night, so it cools down a little. The location is perfect with lakeview, also restaurants, shops and cafes are nearby. Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Set in Altagracia, 46 km from San Juan del Sur, Hostal Rancho Sabor Isleño - Ometepe features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. We had a very nice stay! The town is not so popular with tourists, so if you want to be with the locals this is the best place to be. They will arange a scooter for you. It is a good base to explore the Ometepe Island.. Totally safe and the owners are super nice. Delicious breakfast! 🌋🥰 Thank you!

Set in Balgue, Lazy Crab Hostel has a garden and a terrace. The property is located 1.5 km from Maderas Volcano. The atmosphere was exceptional. The stuff was great and very helpful. The location is perfect. There are many options for restaurants. No matter where you're on this island, you need a scooter to get to the beach & sightseeing. But Lazy Crab has a good distance to the most attractions. They have a kitchen with room for your own purchase. The breakfast is really good too and they have free coffee for breakfast.
