The location is fantastic and the staff and owners make any stay extremely enjoyable. The rooms are very comfortable and modern and the food is locally sourced and delicious. Given the location, the Barrel can get very busy, but the peace and beauty to wake up in such a location is unbeatable!

The room was amazing! My view was perfect: to the town. Thanks a lot! Staff was very helpful and kind. Clean, quiet place. Perfect staying. I was travelling from Argentina and it was worth all the travelling up there. No regret at all.

Located in Hucklow, The Bull at Foolow provides free WiFi throughout the property. Each accommodation at the 4-star hotel has garden views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to a terrace.

Location is pretty much perfect as base for walks sampling the varied nature of the Peak District, e.g. down the Cressbrook Dale and Wye River valley to Monsal Head, and back cross Longstone Moor, or up Eyam Moor and along Bretton Brook. Room was a good size, and with a nice entrance lobby with a small sitting area, and quiet despite being right above the pub in an old building. Add to that a comfortable bed, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Beautiful, calm, and authentic peak district inn. Staff professional and friendly. Despite the pub downstairs, zero noise disturbance. Garden amazing.
