Sincerely this hotel has 4 stars level rooms ! The social area is in a middle of a mini jungle very pretty. Convenient kitchen , barbecue. The beautiful swimming pool is large enough to swim and to relax . This is a quiet place and the owners will respect your privacy. I m very picky , and I really love this place. The price (about 100US$) is the good one compare to the price of many terrible hostels of the island.

I loved everything about my stay at Hotel La Perouse! The service was impeccable and Paula was friendly, caring, and super helpful with anything I could have possibly needed. The hotel itself is close to everything (although I guess most things are close together :)) but it was truly the best spot to explore Hanga Roa and the greater Rapa Nui. As a solo female traveler I wanted to find a spot that felt safe and comfortable - hotel La Perouse is the perfect place for that!

All we need is here. 3. Some small stores are nearby so that we can buy food, fruits, vegetables that everything we need. 20mins walking distance to the seaside, it’s ok because you will pass a church and some art stores. Quiet and safe. Easy to check in/ out. 5. Very nice and patient host as well as his family. They do the laundry for us everyday. We got small gifts and bless from them;) We feels very like at home. It’s better than I expected!!

I had a wonderful stay at Hostal Uruhao. The hosts Francisco and Sonia were very welcoming and helpful, they did their very best to make my stay very comfortable, also to advise and make connections for guided tours (you need to have a guide and a Park Permit to go to the archeological sites). The hostal is very centrally located in the town area, but is very quiet within its own substantial garden. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Highly recommended !

Hostal Makohe Rapa Nui ligt in Hanga Roa, op 13 minuten lopen van Playa Pea, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Everything! This is a lovely place to stay on Rapa Nui. You are a short stroll to the center of town, to the Ahu Tahai and the ocean. Carlos and Pamela are the most gracious hosts. They will make you feel welcome and can help arrange tours, etc. You really could not ask for better hosts. The rooms are very nice and super clean, and have a small fridge. . My bed was so comfortable. The shared kitchen is spacious and clean and well equipped. There is a living room to hang out in and a nice backyard. Hostal Makohe, in my opinion, is really a step up from the usual hostal.
