The cottage and main house were so peaceful--I was content to spend hours just reading on my balcony and listening to the birds and the call to prayer down in the valley. I looked forward to every part of my day--but especially breakfast, which was an absolute feast, every time! Some of the best food I've had in Kerala, and that's a high bar. Renju and the staff were wonderful in ordering autos for me when I needed them, and also they were just so friendly and helpful. This is a great place to come for a long or short retreat. Highly recommended.

Additionally, the homemade food served here is an absolute delight. Fresh and delicious, it adds a distinct charm to the experience. Additional Notes: It's worth noting that the path leading to the hermitage can be challenging for some vehicles. When Mr. Radhakrishnan advises on whether your vehicle can make it, trust his judgment. The journey might be tough, but the destination is equally rewarding.

Com vista do jardim, o Nostalgia Homestay oferece acomodações com varanda térrea e chaleira, a cerca de 4,3 km do Lago Pookode. A big villa with lots of space surrounded by nature. Everything was comfortable and clean. Praveen is an incredibly helpful host and the caretaker Joy is a great help. Our stay was beyond anything we expected and we would definitely return to this place when in Wayanad.

Place is sooo calming , pleasant and clean.It gives us a feel of being packed in nature.Host Mr.suresh kumar is also so friendly and helpful and guided us well on the nearby locations to visit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who ever wants to visit wayanad .would definitely visit again some time soon.
