We loved the ambience, away from the crowds of Banff and Lake Louise. Yoho National Park had a lot to offer. Coming back to a clean comfortable lodge after a long hike was the highlights. The Ranch is amazing. The room and the place around is really beautiful, in the middle of the nature. The room is also heated (if necessary), very cleaned and comfortable. Food is super! The best salmon I've ever eaten! Staff is very nice. I really reccomend this place! We also saw a black bear from the window in the morning!!!!

Second time at LDR. Stayed in the Dutch Treat, smaller than the big lodge that we stayed in last time, but just as spectacular. Love this place! The property, lodges, owners, they're all fantastic! Very comfy beds and bedding, great shower. And they're building a beautiful sauna for the cabin.
