We stayed at Yarra Valley Motel for a night after exploring the Yarra Valley area and hence arrived in the evening.
The check-in was pretty fuss-free but as the reception was closed, we had to give make a call to the person in charge to receive instructions to retrieve the room keycard from the lockbox. The room itself was very clean and I have nothing to complain about to be honest! It even came with a microwave and portable heater.

Overall we found the location and facility excellent value. We had booked without much research at the last moment and our expectations were exceeded.

Number of cups provided, tea facility. The Pub Cafe is brilliant--best value for money. The bed-making is beyong 4 star.
The lid of the 60 L black rubish bin outside the rooms on first floor is very, very, very dirty--spoiling the enroviment of stay.
Victoria House Motor Inn is a stylish boutique accommodations located in Croydon, a 10-minute drive from Yarra Valley and a 30-minute drive from central Melbourne.

The motel (Econo Lodge ) was accessed off the Maroondah Highway, although the address was Maroondah Highway. Signage was not visible, so easy to miss where to turn to enter. Hilly in Lilydale, not good for walking when you are not used to hills. Our accomodation was a good walk from the supermarker/shops/ We had an evening meal at the hotel. That was very good, but not that many other alternatives we could find.

Being in Lilydale made me appreciate the small things I can so easily take for granted! Such a scenic area, perfect for families and couples to relax and have a rewarding weekend away! Plenty of enjoyable options for everyone to love, from buying quality products for low prices, tree top adventures, picnics, and more! Definitely recommend relaxing in the beautiful botanical gardens or checking out one of the many cute cafes Lilydale has to offer!

The location is central to many attractions... Accommodation was disappointing. There seems to be very little decent, affordable accommodation in this area. Motels in the area are old, often shabby, with owners giving them a lick of paint & basic amenities.

Loved the tram stay experience and its a stunning property. Very well maintained, all amenities provided and plenty of snacks provided which is very rare to see at air bnbs lately. Highly recommend this fun escape which is great for couples. Great outdoor seating with a perfect small garden. If you are looking for something difference othan that a regular hotel stay then look no further.
Beautiful setting overlooking farm and valley beyond. Very quiet. The cabin is comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen facilities are excellent enabling us to cook most nights, which suited us. While the setting is rural, the property is only 5 minutes drive from Lilydale shopping centre and station, with excellent train service to the heart of Melbourne.
Reception staff were excellent and even let us extend our checkout time which was very helpful. Bed was very comfortable.
We did not use any of the complex facilities during our 1 night stay. Local hotel was good and very close, about a 1km drive but not suitable for walking there as no paths.
The people at the property were very helpful, excellent staff who go the extra mile to help.
Excellent location, close to hotels, restaurants and close to places to see around Yarra valley.
Rooms were nice and cozy. Not big, but just enough.
Room AC worked which is great.
No breakfast was included with this hotel apart from that the rooms was okay just smelt like smoke but good enough for the one night stay. They were very nice about my mother locking her key card in the room though which was nice
Quiet and secure, plenty of parking, nicely manicured gardens, spacious and nicely furnished rooms. Friendly, polite staff only too happy to assist. Very pleasant stay, only 5 mins to Lilydale town centre.
The hotel is close to the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges, which are both very lovely areas to visit. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The location in Lilydale was convenient. The bathroom was nice but there was no shelf or soap dish in the shower to put things on - a razor for instance.
