It is a very warm and welcoming place. The owner Susi is lovely and greeted us personally at the reception. Her husband Chris runs the attached Minuteman Pizzaria where you find the best pizza in town. Probably in the whole of Bolivia. The location is perfect just 100 meters from the bus stop and even closer to the main part of the town. Rooms are clean and nice. Would be more than happy to stay here again.

After a 3 day Salt Flats and Bolivia tour we booked this hotel last minute as we were exhausted and didn't want to catch the bus that night. The beds were so comfortable! A big thick doona (blanket), it was great having a big TV to watch and unwind.
Bathroom was great with a hot shower!
Location was a short stroll into town for dinner!
We were asked if we were married for matrimonial bed and with the language barrier I said no so were provided with two single beds haha but that was on me and probably could have swapped if we asked.
Breakfast was self serve - not a huge amount of options but there was enough!

It was good to have a luxury hotel to rest after a 3 days Uyuni salt flats tour. Good breakfast. The room is warm with strong hot water pressure. The hotel has free use steam room but the steam is weak. The jacuzzi is not operating. The restaurant offers variety of food and the dishes we ordered were well cooked.
The Reception was managed by people speak English very well (but not sure about the listening skills as we booked airport transfer to the airport but it was not recorded in the book. Luckily we checked with them the next day and they quickly organised for one so we went to the airport only 2 mins later than scheduled.

Salar is just an amazing place, a wonder the Word! Both when dry, as well as when flooded.
Uyuni town very ugly, avoid it is possible, full of dirty roads and dirt in the air, if you are sensitive or allergic, do not go downtown and stay in one of the 3 nicests salt hotels in the Salar outside town.
Best restaurant in town is Tika, in the hotel Jardin of Uyuni (nice hotel too)

No matter what season (dry or wet)you go to Uyuni, you will see amazing views. But I recommend dry season since you will have chance to see both wet area and “beautiful” dry area. And for the starlight tour, you’ll see beautiful stars without clouds!

Uyuni came at the end of our San Pedro de Atacama - Uyuni...
Uyuni came at the end of our San Pedro de Atacama - Uyuni private tour (3 days-2 nights) that was exceptional, so not much left to see around the small city except the people and plazas, although the small museum on the army base was very interesting and informative, as recommended by Chris. We stayed three nights and found the hotel clean and very well located to walk around.
The restaurant, and more specifically Chris, was outstanding catering breakfast on a jazzy note and offering delicious pizzas by evening.
Our room didn't have natural light nor a view, nor a closet, hooks nor hangers which made things a little complicated in our case, since we had some heavy luggage. Everybody at the hotel was most helpful and I would definitly recommend staying there.

Uyuni Salt Flats has been on our bucket list for years and we were super excited to visit. It exceeded our expectations and will return soon. It is easy to get around the town. If you want to explore the salt flats and the Andes it's best to hire a tour guide. We had the best 7 days in and around Uyuni. We dined at Tika, Tacuru, and local vendors. The food was delicious and filling. Our favorite places were the salt flats and exploring the Andes.

Small derelict little town which wouldn’t be as busy if it wasn’t for the world famous salt flats. However, there are many restaurants and bars to accommodate tourists as well as a bus terminal and an airport. A must if you’re in South America.
Hotel Rey David was an easy walk to the center of Uyuni. Lovely room with big private bathroom. Quiet, even with windows facing the street. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Room was heated at night. Very helpful front desk staff. My compliments to the breakfast chef. Best sunny-side-up eggs I think I've ever had. She has a bright and welcoming personality to match. Thanks Hotel Rey David for a great stay in Uyuni.
We have mixed feelings about our stay.
The good: The place is really clean, the room has good space, shower is really good and warm, wifi is good, the whole place is quiet and located very close to the bus terminal (about 5min walking), and about 7-8min from the 'Centro'. There is a kitchen, towels/soap/shampoo/toilet paper included (which is challenging to find in Bolivia!). The place itself is really good!
Really comfortable place, with heating system inside all the building, pool table, balcony, really cool installations and comfortable beds, definitively one of the best installations I've seen in a hostel, specially in such a cold city as Uyuni, even the cold tap water was a bit warn. I came and stayed there again after my tour inside the Uyuni salar and would definitely book this place again
We are travelling Bolivia and stayed here for a few day before the salt flats! we also came back for a night after our tour. We had a room with a shared bathroom and the facilities are 10/10 with amazing staff. The breakfast was also amazing and personalised to you. You had a choice of porridge oats, yoghurt, sandwiches and fruits.
Would definitely recommend!
We loved staying at the Hotel Cesare in Uyuni. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. Cesare and his staff provided outstanding service. They assisted us with everything from ordering a taxi to helping us with food delivery orders. Plus, we were able to wash some laundry! Highly recommended for your stay in Uyuni!
We loved our stay here, it was so cosy and relaxing after a salt flats tour. All restaurants were closed during our stay due to the Bolivian census and hosts cooked us breakfast, lunch and dinner which were all delicious! Lovely hot shower and comfy beds with warm blankets.
It was sooo lovely experience.
This hotel is only 10 minutes from the bus terminal by walk and 5 minutes from tour agencies.
It was clean. The staff was very kind and responsive.
The Wi-Fi was fast enough.
If I come back to Uyuni, I'd definitely choose this hotel.
Chris and his wife Sussa do an excellent job of managing this hotel. They are both very people friendly. Our room had lots of space and the shower was great. The breakfast was clearly the best we have enjoyed in Bolivia (and in other South American countries).
After three-day tour from San Pedro de Atacama full of sand, wind and sunburns, check-in at Uyuni Tonito Hotel is a pure home-feeling starting with Susie’s warm welcoming greetings and shining smiles, feeling of warm and cozy is far beyond your expectations.
This hotel is literally a little Oasis that makes you forget about the rest of Uyuni town (which is not very nice at all). The staff is amazing, speaks fluent English and the pool area is hot but super relaxing. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated too.
Breakfast was good; location was good in relation to Llama Cafe and our Salar de Uyuni tour operator dropoff. The 'superior' rooms looked nice though we didn't wind up staying in it because they didn't have a double bed (and it was up 4 flights of stairs).
Great property, comfortable beds, spacious room, big showers. After travelling a few days in Bolivia I was super happy to see the heater (for the cold nights). It’s approx 5-8 mins walk to the Center. The market opens right on the same street!
Decent hotel for visiting Uyuni and the salt flats. Staff were very kind and helpful. They even allowed us to stay in a small room for the day after checking out before our night bus.
Good sized rooms and hot showers.
I had a spacious room which was clean and offered a nice view of Uyuni. The hotel has warm water. The team is great, I got breakfast earlier, as I needed to leave early and they called a taxi for me.
Excellent crews in the hotel, as they’re so helpful, nice, and honest. Unbeatable price! Great Wi-Fi, hot water, and they also provide shower products, including hair conditioner.
Hotel staff is very friendly. After go in Uyuni lake salt sticks to my shoes and it spread to my room. I asked to clean the floor and they clean my room immediately.
