The fireplace in the lounge that warmed the whole hotel, where we could relax by the fire and were served wine and local cheeses and prosciutto, and the kindness of the proprietor and her delightful children. And of course the fantastic view of the Peaks.
Albergue La Vargona features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and terrace in Camaleño. A tour desk can provide information on the area. The shared bathroom is equipped with a shower and a hairdryer....

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed and we really liked the fact that there was a washer. The kitchen was good too. Beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi was good and fast. The owners had a garage for our bicycles, but they also let us leave them downstairs in front of the door to our room. It felt safe here. Bikes are not allowed in the room, which was ok in this location.
Mirador de Enterrias is set in the Liébana Valley, in the town of Enterrías, 7.5 mi from Potes. It offers impressive views of Peña Prieta Mountain, a free Wi-Fi zone and free parking nearby.

I appreciate this accommodation even more several days after our stay and reflecting on how courteous and professionally we were greeted and treated right up to and including our departure. The management contacted us by phone to explain we had mistakenly left a bit of phone paraphernalia behind. This is very good customer service. We like to wait a few days after the stay to reflect and consider. This establishment and it's management is professional.
