The hotel is very tired needs attention the rooms are tired . Position good for the motorway and restaurant next door.We didn't have a credit card and they refused to take our payment by debit cards as they only wanted a credit card.Luckily we had cash so could pay . They should tell you on the booking only credit card but I was allowed to make the booking by my debit card .

I've stayed here a couple of times before on long road trips to/from Spain. Always friendly, but... the location is OK, and parking outside is easy. Nice breakfast.

Breakfast was surprisingly very pleasant, we didn't hold out much hope but it was nice. Location was great very close to the restaurants and bakery's.

Excellent for a good value enroute stopover. Bit run down but very clean. Restaurant serves good food with large portions at a very reasonable cost. No English spoken, at least while I was there.

A wonderful experience and made to feel very welcome by the owners. A beautiful c18 building in glorious grounds. Bedroom was large and comfortable with ensuite. Food and wine was delicious and plentiful.
