It was a short drive to Mont Saint Quentin a renown WW1 battle field for Australians as well as the fortress town of Laon. Think Hindenburg Line meets medieval ... including the knights Templar! Chickens, Donkey and the Host were marvellous and really made the stay. The Host is very welcoming and accommodating she is also currently converting the barn into more apartments. breakfast was wonderful and brought to our room. Service was fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable. The place is out of the way but the village is charming. We loved the fact that check in was contactless and we were able to check in late on our own.
