the food is excellent. We got some sparerips there and a ribeye and I think both where the best we ever had to now and the pricing is really fair. The place is perfectly located near the cathedral and town center. The hotel is a lovely place, but we could not really sleep well due to the worn out mattresses.

Stayed here for the first time over the weekend and would absolutely return. Lovely, quiet location and the staff were super friendly. There was plenty to do close by including mottisfont. The breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed the chef was very attentive. Also enjoyed the evening meal the previous night. Room was extremely cosy, bed very comfortable and the bath was huge! Really enjoyed a relaxing weekend here thanks very much and will definitely be returning

The location was exceptional, possibly unbeatable. It was a 20 minutes' stunning walk into Salisbury centre and Cathedral. The water that flowed beneath the hotel, and in years gone by, had fed the wheel, now rushes into the mill-pond, swaying the submerged reeds back and forth, somewhat calming and breathtakingly beautiful.
