The staff were just off the scale friendly and welcoming. Experiences like this are why independents can be so great. Handwritten welcome note and cake in the room! Excellent food too, a lovely venue, good car parking, and a ridiculously good value price. Wish it had been more than a flying visit on business

Our sea view room lived up to its label: the views over the town and coast were stunning. The hotel is old and characterful with wonky floors, beams and low ceilings: we like that. Short walk downhill to the harbour and free car parking. Good value for the price.

Good position in Lyme Regis. Very hilly so got our hearts pumping. Positive kitchen facilities. Nice not to be restricted to certain breakfast times. Facilities were clean and sufficient for our two night stay.

Lovely little town, not too busy, and the beach is great for fossil hunting. The Heritage Coast Centre is a must if you are in the area, full of fascinating fossil samples and facts and displays. Also has a cafe attached for drinks and snacks.

It’s winter so much of the town is closed however for hikers and the like, it’s an excellent time to visit.
In the summer, Charmouth can be very busy, especially the beach., but iconic beach, beautiful setting.

We stopped for a week and I could definitely have stayed longer, money allowing. I really like Charmouth. We went the first time probably 10 years ago and wanted to go back. I was not disappointed. I only went for fossil collecting, and came back very happy.

Wonderful beach for fossil hunting.
Wonderful beach for fossil hunting. Make sure you visit the discovery centre on the beach to check out tips on fossil hunting. Staff are very helpful.
Charmouth is very small with 2 great pubs and a fish and chip shop so evening meals are limited . Bookings needed for The Royal Oak, but we'll worth it. The George equally great for a relaxed meal.

We went for the fossils so although it was the wrong time of year the process of looking was satisfactory and we had booked a fossil your with Lyme Regis museum which was very good.
Depending on the tides you can walk along the beaches easily and walk from Charmouth to Lyme Reis easily.
I couldn't recommend this accommodation enough. Very welcoming to the eye, quiet, clean and extremely comfortable. Just a lovely apartment. Set in a perfect location between two beautiful places, Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Some great places to eat (Bank House Cafe, Charmouth; Royal Oak, Charmouth; Pilot Boat, Lyme Regis). We also went home with some of the famous Charmouth fossils and lots of sea glass. Just a perfect holiday ;-)
The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the original artwork. The owner provided a fan when requested and it helped on the days when it was hot and humid outside. The owner thought of everything a traveler might need. The Jurassic Coast bus comes every hour and provides comfortable transportation from Charmouth, to Lyme Regis and beyond. It stops at Fernhill Hotel which is on the same property.
Perfect Stay! Started on arrival with ample easy on-site parking at this beautiful B&B. Perfect location with short walk one direction to the beach and short walk other direction to pubs, restaurants and shopping. Spacious room equipped with everything we could possibly need. Friendly owners with helpful recommendations to enjoy area, who serve up a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!
Very friendly and helpful staff at the holiday park, excellent location close to charmouth and Lyme Regis but far enough away to be quiet.
Very clean and well appointed caravan with all the little bits and bobs you might need including a pint of milk.
Modern and well appointed, thoughtfully decorated. Great facilities. Fabulous breakfast. Host was friendly and accommodating and met all our needs. Located close to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this B & B.
The property was very easy to find. It is outside the town of Charmouth in the countryside. The apartment was in pristine condition and had been recently painted. It had a beautiful view over the countryside. Hope to go back next year
Really good location for a fossil trip to Charmouth, Lyme Regis and Seatown. Very warm and cozy stay, and enjoyable goodies and board games from host. Will visit again. Highly recommend!
This was our second time staying at this fantastic hidden gem in Charmouth, great hosts, plenty of food provided for breakfast. I sure we will stay there again in the future.
