Great location and you could see the building works they were doing sadly scaffolding out the rear which is where our room was. Pigeons woke us up as were all over the scaffolding at 4 am. Sadly it’s nature but if scaffolding wasn’t there then birds wouldn’t be.

The Aviator has a great sense of history & art deco style, love it for that reason.
The main building with reception, bar and restaurant are fabulous. Can’t fault it.

The apartment was, as advertised, spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a fridge and cooker and tea bags and coffee were supplied. The bed was comfortable and a good size. There is large Sainsbury's supermarket five minutes walk away.
