What an absolutely beautiful location. It was very clean and welcoming. Vicki always has a smile when she sees you and has made her little B&B a place to completely relax. From the muffins, tea, and drinks, to her home cooked breakfast of your choice, she tends to her guests’ every need. The bed was comfy, the room was tastefully decorated, and the view was spectacular. I could walk that little beach for days. We’ll be back!

The property is beautiful in what feels like the middle of nowhere. The weather was wonderful for our 3 nights stay. We were up late with the amount of sunlight we had and enjoyed beautiful sunsets walking about the property.

Just around the corner of the beach and waterfalls.

The area around Staffin is so beautiful.
The area around Staffin is so beautiful. Very secluded so you do need a car. It’s very close to the Quiriang for hiking or just checking out the beautiful vistas. We used this as our home base for Isle of Skye and everything on Skye is easily accessible from the Staffin area. Things are all close distance wise, but driving is slow on the narrow roads so will take longer than you think and Apple Maps actually did a very good job at predicting the time for a journey. The roads were better than we expected but do keep an eye out for potholes!
We cooked our meals but Portree has lots of options for restaurants and groceries. Staffin itself has a small convenience store and cafe with friendly staff.

While at Staffin we drove and/or walked to many of the local and nearby areas and points-of-interest. No matter what we found the views unique and worth the effort, and, the people extraordinarily welcoming, helpful and happy to answer our questions about the town and its history. Being near the ocean the roads, hills and sidewalks offered very walkable options for our outdoor sojourns — just be sure to dress in layers as the wind can quickly change to feel of the day.

Not very much to do here as most everything is closed other than a Spar shop and takeaway, quite dissapointed to be honest as there are quite a few B&B's in the area with not a lot of choice for eating dinner etc, other than a hotel which charged me 50% of my B&B stay for dinner, ridiculous in my opinion.......will never be back

I dragged my partner up to Staffin to hunt for dinosaur footprints - and we found some! Sadly the dinosaur museum was shut when we were there, but we've added it to our list for when we go back... We also checked out the castles in the area. Really lovely scenery - you can see the Old Man of Storr nearby which would be perfect for keen walkers...

We stay there and everything there is more than enough for any one .
This is a very charming home with all the characters..even the indoor plants have a wow factor.
I would definitely recommend this ...living there was such a pleasure
There is a beach within a walking distance and its feel like very private ...no many people just one or 2 .
There is plenty to enjoy ...walking hiking and climbing .
We went to fairy pools so don't forget to get some midges spray :)and recommend good hiking shoes.
Old man of Storr is another place where tou can go ...even just sitting in the garden or conservatory is a magical experience.
Definitely recommend and wants to go back and stay more just to enjoy my walks to the beach ⛱
The home was very easy to find in Staffin as there was signage starting at the main road. The room was large and included a small sitting area for eating, a mini-fridge with fresh milk, and a lovely tea set up. We had plenty of room for our luggage and the en-suite bathroom was clean and convenient. The bed was large and comfy and we felt right at home! The breakfast was delicious and served in a fantastic room with views of the ocean and the dramatic landscape of Skye. We would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful estate in a picture pefect location at the foot of the Quirang Mountains by the sea. Staff is excellent; personable and accommodating. Staff is seriously hard-working and knock it out of the park, daily. From Dan, Daimon, Ian, and Nicole, all went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Hotel is like something out of a fairy tale. Food in the Skye Restaurant is excellent. Loved it! Would definitely go back!
The location was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful landscape. The food in the restaurant was the best food we had in Scotland during our vacation. Delicious and beautifully presented. Nicole was amazing. She was so nice and helpful, not only with the hotel and restaurant but helping us find stunning hikes in the area. Thanks for everything Nicole!
Absolutely EVERYTHING! It’s just a few minutes drive from Staffin. Dianne is so lovely. The rooms (only 2), are super clean and comfy. I loved being surrounded by sheep farms - a true experience of the area. The take away breakfast is a brilliant idea! There are so many goodies in there to keep you fuelled for the rest of your trip.
The hotel has an extraordinary location (10/10), and is, among others, close to key tourist attraction while being on a unique and isolated place. The room was Ok+ (versus expectations) , with a limited view on the sea. The bed was excellent (10/10). It is, for sure, a unique and original place.
Fantastic location in Staffin at the top part of the island next to a loch, beautiful and peaceful. Great facilities, log burner, comfy sofas, dishwasher and great bathrooms. The bath needs a mention as it's amazing, and the view from the window is perfect when you go for a bath. recommended!
Fantastic stay at this lovely property. A typical pretty Isle of Skye white house, away from the hustle and bustle of town. Amazing shower, I could spend ages in it and lovely warm water whenever we wanted it. Close to some beautiful sights on the Island, we loved it!
Perfect Location , friendly landlords. All facilities available. This is the perfect place to stay in Staffin (Isle of Skye). The landlords were very helpful and friendly. Without a doubt this will be the first choice when I return back to Isle of Skye.
very clean, lovely hosts - so accommodating, helpful and friendly. Room was lovely and clean, bed very comfortable. It had everything we needed and little touches were definitely noticed. would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Isle of Skye.
Location was amazing. Views from the place is great and it is closer to all major attractions of Isle of Skye. We had a great time enjoying isle from Taste of Sea. House was also huge and clean and my family enjoyed staying at this place
absolutely fantastic views. you won’t get better anywhere. The host was fantastic, very friendly. what more could anyone want. breakfast was delicious and the house was immaculate. magnificent views over the Quiraing and over to Staffin
A fantastic little cottage just off Staffin bay, a log fire that the owners supplied the fuel for, they were very helpful and also left 2 beers and buiscuits and chews for the dog, we arrived early but was no problem.
Very clean and comfortable, good location in north of Skye near Staffin. Very close to several good hikes, about 20 minutes from Portree. The owner was very helpful and communicative. All in all a very pleasant stay.
Very peaceful location with lovely view of the ridge. Everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Had a great swim at Staffin slipway beach (sandy) one evening in the sunshine.
Superb view of Quiraing and Staffin bay, close by to all the places we wanted to visits, superb host Donald who welcome us and make our stay so comfortable. Highly recommended.
We stayed at the McDonald cottage, real nice atmosphere. The view from Flodigarry is unbelievable! Food was good. We enjoyed the stay! Beautiful hikes right from the hotel.
