A small community village with a store and restaurant within walking distance. I liked feeling like a local might feel. Loved seeing the community members outside congregating, the children riding bikes and singing on the streets. The house was equipped with almost everything you needed. Very traditional and authentic.

If you’ve always wanted to live in a small village on a hill, staying at Nikolas’s house will give you that opportunity. He has converted a 100 year old stone building into a beautiful small house with all the modern conveniences you need. It’s refreshingly cool on hot days and there’s a lovely area in the back to sit and enjoy the garden (plus there’s a private parking spot). The washing machine was a huge bonus for us, and we were given freshly picked oranges and other snacks to tide us over. There is a queen-sized bed as well as two singles, so perfect for families or couples. There are a few restaurants nearby but honestly, it’s worth driving the 8 minutes into Olympia to dine at Filoxenia (means hospitality), also owned by Nikolas, his wife Athena and his son Christos. Their food was the best we had during our four day stay! They are the kindest people and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. The house was just perfect - we would definitely stay again if we are ever lucky enough to go back to that area.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Hotel Hermes is located in Olympia, 984 feet from Archaeological Museum of Ancient Olympia. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

The room was very basic, but we didn't expect too much for the price. The extremely friendly and gracious staff, and delicious breakfast, made up for the somewhat cramped and old fashioned facilities.
Amalia Olympia is located in the entrance of Ancient Olympia. Surrounded by Mediterranean gardens, it features an outdoor pool, restaurant and spacious lounges and a bar with fireplace.

A big old hotel that performs perfectly! I say old because you can find many details from older hotels there is a telephone in the bathroom....This doesn't ruin your stay it just makes you laugh. They had the most comfortable (a pretty ) robes. The reception was friendly and helpful and very efficient. We got a free upgrade without even asking for it. We received a full size bottle of wine complimentary, and we only stayed one night! We didn't try the buffet dinner, but the breakfast buffet had great variety. You could tell by the very polite and professional staff that we met at breakfast ,cleaning the rooms ... that this hotel is run well and their staff takes pride in their work.
