A lot of space, Good equipped kitchen. "Todo" list - places to visit / to do. Great location.
Simple self check-in / check-out process (you get a message with all relevant information where to find the key, how to use hot water etc.)
Two big bedrooms - one with the double bed and one with the sofa - pretty comfy to sleep on.

There are 2 rooms - bedroom and a living room, a nice bathroom and 2 available balconies. Both rooms have external blinds available. Everything is nice and clean. The host was very friendly, approachable and speaks english.
We stayed with a child (1 year old) and were able to fit our cot in the bedroom perfectly (brought our own as they don't have).
It was stocked to live in. Kitchen appliances were available - refrigerator, stove, oven, utensils. Also linen, towels, soap, toilet paper, sponge for dishes and other small nice details thought of.
Location: it is in the center. There is an elevator to the 4th floor where the apartment is. There are a lot of food places nearby, cafes and a shop for groceries. Everything in the city is within walking distance.
Parking in front of the apartment was available but has to be paid for for some parts of the time by scratchable tickets (date, time of the parking) and put on the inside of the windshield. Tickets are available in the nearby kiosks (small pavilions for snacks and drinks). It costs 0.5€ per hour.

Edessa, also known as the "City of Waters and of the 5...
Edessa, also known as the "City of Waters and of the 5 Senses", until 1923 Vodena, is a city in northern Greece and the capital of the Pella regional unit, in the Central Macedonia region of Greece. It was also the capital of the defunct province of the same name.
Edessa holds a special place in the history of the Greek world as, according to some ancient sources, it was here that Caranus established the first capital of ancient Macedon. Later, under the Byzantine Empire, Edessa benefited from its strategic location, controlling the Via Egnatia as it enters the Pindus mountains, and became a center of medieval Greek culture, famed for its strong walls and fortifications.
In the modern period, Edessa was one of Greece's industrial centers until the middle of the 20th century, with many textile factories operating in the city and its immediate vicinity. Today however its economy mainly relies on services and tourism. Edessa hosts most of the administrative services of the Pella regional unit, as well as some departments of the Thessaloniki-based University of Macedonia.

If you've ever been to a cave before, there's no point in paying to enter the one behind the waterfall. The neighborhood is charming.
After 10 pm is difficult to find open restaurant.

A nice little town to escape the heat at sea level, and as a step stone to visit the higher mountains.
The tourist information was very helpful and informative.
We have signed for a year-long citizenship, which buys a free access to the city's rent-a-bike for 1 EURO.
Take a short bike ride or walk to the waterfalls, the old city and the scenic route overlooking the valley below.
Enjoy the drinking water taps across the city and the streams flowing through it.
The tourist information's advice for local restaurants was nothing short of perfect.
During July, roadside plum and pear trees are burdened by sweet colorful fruits, take your time to enjoy a few as you travel this area.

I liked the town near the hotel, with shady places to sit and plenty of places to eat, including one restaurant that provided excellent chicken soup. Some of the historical sites could have been a little better signed, especially those reached on foot via the old paved path down the cliff near the hotel.
This restored old mansion in the old Varosi neighborhood embodies warmth, coziness, and traditional style. It rained mightily during our October stay; the Varosi Guesthouse was a welcoming place for relaxing and unwinding after a waterlogged day of sightseeing. We took advantage of the thick robes provided in our room! Common areas on both levels are beautifully furnished, inviting guests to linger and browse through literature on the region. The property is a short walk from the bus station, town center, and magnificent waterfalls.
Beautiful historic building, amazingly helpful, kind and friendly staff.
It was my birthday and they surprised me with a huge chocolate croissant with a candle and they came out to sing. Lovely!
Simple, clean and comfortable rooms.
Located in the old part of Edessa next to the waterfalls and beautiful panoramic views.
Great breakfast, a lovely outdoor area and inner courtyard to sit for breakfast or with a drink or a snack.
A real find!
The house was beautifully designed. Every little detail was thought of and was taken care of in the most perfect way. The location is right in the center and a walking distance from where you want to go in Edessa.
The owners were extremely nice and inviting, they showed us where to go and had great English. They also left a box of treats that we're great. If I could rate more than 10, I would.
From the minute we walked in we were treated like family. The lovely family who ran the hotel were extremely welcoming and accomodating. Rooms were amazing and clean. Breakfast was perfect and they even offered to make fresh eggs. Location was 2 minutes away from the business of the main city and therefore was peaceful and made it easier to sleep. Great hotel would highly recommend.
Everything. The best accommodation we had in Greece.
We arrived in storm and wind and when we opened the door the fire was already burning and Raki was waiting for us. We took a shower in the super clean bathroom and slept like king and queen in the very very comfortable bed.
We can recommend everyone to stay here and not in another place!
It is a lovely guest house in the old town of Edessa close to the water falls. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast (served in the hotel next door) was great with amazing views from the terrace.
The guesthouse also had seating area in front of the house and a small shared balcony.
The decor was lovely traditional.
The location was excellent, just down the road a short way from the waterfalls. Parking was available for a limited number of cars, including ours, right outside the hotel's front door, and more parking was available in the immediate vicinity. The breakfast was good and the staff was consistently helpful and friendly.
Everything was great, clean place excellent service wonderful people work here. Don't know what else to ask for to make my vacation perfect. Been in a lot of places and seen a lot of hotels this one is really perfect. It is a quiet place where you can enjoy the relaxion and the quite of this placey.
Location is perfect, right in the center of Edessa, with a nice view on the stadium where you can freely use the athletics track for a run. Edessa is a very nice place to spend a few days and take a walk around the waterfalls. Plenty of coffee bars within 150m from the apartment.
The hotel is quite old but the hosts have kept it very clean and have managed to keep the facilities functional to a good standard!
The staff was very kind and helped us with everything we needed
The location is excellent and the parking free and available!
The flat was gorgeous and the hosts, Eleni and Dimitris, were very nice and welcoming. Edessa is a gorgeous place and we would like to visit the area again, and if possible, we would definitely stay in this beautiful appartment again!

Excellent hotel, excellent location, we got room 9 on the 2nd floor, a room with a wooden ceiling and floor with a spectacular view and a small balcony. The hotel exceeded expectations
The apartment is in a good location. New bathroom and amenities. The owner was waiting for us at the time we arrived. Very responsive host. The town of Edessa is nice.
The appartment was very comfortable and clean. It's location was at city center, and very close to Edessa's waterfalls. Host was very polite and eager to help.
Excellent value for money. It's a very basic hotel, but everything is very clean and well cared for. The staff are very kind, and the hotel is well located.
