Very beautiful scenery and peaceful.
Very beautiful scenery and peaceful. Asked for room change off the pond and was accommodated. Petting zoo animals sweet, but they need grooming and tended to better. Hotel restaurant food was Great. Most of the staff was too. The ducks were adorable and hung out with us by our room

The Amargosa Valley is a great value while visiting Death Valley. The rates here are significantly lower than in the park. Well worth the drive. Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms and nice facilities. RV travelers can also take advantage of the RV park on site.

Nice small hotel near to Death Valley and the Area 51 Café...
Nice small hotel near to Death Valley and the Area 51 Café 😉 with nice view on the mountains and on a small lake they built there and donkeys, ducks and geese. Small casino inside and a bar as well as restaurant and a shop 24/7.

You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley.
You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley. I went there to experience Death Valley and got an Area 51 and Alien Cathouse into the bargain. Hidden gem is the Stateline Bar opposite the resort. good beer, local knowledge and a chance to leave your signature on the wall!

- From 603.87 zł per night8.1Scored 8.1Very goodRated very good· 2,248 reviewswe really enjoyed our stay at longstreet inn. we were looking for a hotel near death valley national park and chose this one and would do it again. the room was maybe even too big for us and maybe a little pricey - but it's in the desert. there is also a gas station, a laundry room, swimming pool and whirlpool for free use. we also had dinner at the hotel. although i am vegetarian, it was absolutely fine. that evening there was a live band playing in the bar that was incredibly good and made our evening.

We choose this place as our last night to fly back from Las Vegas airport. It is way calmer than the Las Vegas casino hotels. There’s a small supermarket and a restaurant on side. Staff does his/her utmost best to deliver quality. There was entertainment in the evening where we danced and drank cocktails. Rooms are spacious with a view to the lovely pond outside. Comfortable beds, good shower.

The inside was cute and kitschy. The ice machine had plenty of ice to scoop from the bin. Two restaurants and a little shop. No microwaves in the room but there is one in the shop that the public can use. Small fridges in the rooms. There also was an onsite gas station which was very nice to gas up before we went into Death Valley.LynetteUnited States

A small lake, live geese and lifelike statues of people and animals scattered all around the park like area. The Cafe offered a minimal yet satisfying selection. The adequately stocked 24 hour mini mart and small casino a plus since Amargosa Valley is in the middle of the vast Mojave Desert.

Don’t be put off my the name there are no spiders . This was a comfortable glamping experience with Shower and coffee facilities available. I wish the owners would expand and have these in every state it is far better experience than a hotel . 5 Stars from two happy Friends

Food at the restaurant was also nice and the personnel super helpful (I am vegan) The story of Longstreet and the cow in front of the hotel. I loved the atmosphere and people is amazing . Was not expecting that. Also there is a self service laundry that was very helpful since we were having a road trip.

The rooms and grounds were well maintained and safe. The cafe served good food at reasonable prices. A plus, for the guy, was the small casino. (We were visiting Death Valley for a couple days along with our two small dogs.)

Old Las Vegas type hotel with small casino, restaurant/bar, furnished with mid century memorabilia. Life in a desert location can be quiet after sunset but Longstreet Inn/casino provided a few distractions to break up a long evening.
