The property is just right at the right location, between Fenway and Boston Collage where my son is. It has a great lounge at the lobby where they serve the included breakfast, and supplies are easy to find on every floor such as coffee, towels, tissues etc. The room that we stayed at was big so its a plus.

Everything was clean and tidy and well maintained. I felt mostly very safe and well.
Despite located in Brookline the connection to Harvard and MIT was well reachable by bicycle. Blue bike station nearby.
Overall a good option for a much better price than downtown Boston with a good connection.
Overall everything works very well and it fulfills all needs for a stay including a microwave and coffee.
Shower gel and towels were provided.

Brookline was so close to downtown Boston - just a short walk away. Exceptional dining places all around the area and grocery stores as well and easy access to Fenway Park to watch the baseball. Brilliant location right near the universities and a really good feel for the area. Friendly people everywhere and i felt really safe at all times. You can catch the train or the tram to Brookline or easy walking area too. Cafes and eating places galore all reasonably priced.

I came for medical treatment, and the facility was near Longwood, I could have walked to the hospital if I chose to, about .8 miles or 15 minutes. The building is older, unremodeled, but clean and charming. There are restaurants and shops nearby; eg Bar Cino is five minutes walk or less, and very good. I used uber but tram and subway stops are within about a block. I would have tried public transport but this was my first trip and I was uninitiated. This place represents a good value for basic accommodations, given the high cost and limited availability in the area, otherwise, and I understand they provide parking which would be important if I had driven as on street parking seems unavailable overnight.

If you are visiting a child at BU or visiting nearby colleges it’s perfect. Lots of places to see and things to do in a short distance. I like that the manager Ivette actively sought my feedback and asked what they could do better. Their new wing (where we stayed) has some glitches and she really wanted to know what could make our stay better for next time.

The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice !
The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice ! The staff was nice! I felt like my room #314 was mediocre.
Three huge stains on the carpet the moment you walked in. The bathroom was the worst part. The room was over looking the lobby with windows that didn't open at all. The shower was nice but could be fixed, toilet ran all night. Sink looked like it was going to detached if you breathed on it. Don't think the room was worth the price regardless of location.

Brookline is super cute.
Brookline is super cute. Lots of restaurants and parking are available. It's also very close to Boston, so that you can explore both areas. Brookline has a quaint, small-town feel that complements the city feel of Boston. Best of both worlds.

I was allocated a room at the end of the hotel; wifi was not working, I had to pay for roaming data, I asked for a late check out as my flight was at 10 pm at night that day, but was granted only a check out of 12 pm not a minute later before they said they will have to start charging me (who does that?). For a room that costed me 300$ a night - this was a terrible approach to customer service
Location right on Beacon St. in Brookline (near Cooledge Corner) was wonderful. The room was oddly, not efficiently configured. (This is neither good nor bad.) The building is elegant. They did allow us to get out of the last day we had booked so we could get a hotel nearer the airport to catch a very early flight. The person who arranged that on the phone was great.
The Longwood In is an old Boston 3-story house like I used to live in Cambridge MA in the '80s. It was quiet, homey, comfortable. Access to a full communal kitchen, next to the Emerald Necklace so ideal for walking. Far superior to glitzy sterile hotel chains. If you want an elevator and shiny corporate amenities, this is not your place.
For a long time this was my go to hotel when traveling to Boston. Great location, safe, clean, quiet. Historical house has a nice vibe. The property looks home-y. You can relax in its many spaces, use the kitchen which is tastefully updated. The bathrooms are pristine. FREE parking. It's a fabulous place.
Breakfast was A+ and the gentleman putting it out was so friendly and hospitable!!!
Room A+ I've stayed in lots of hotels and this was the cleanest hotel and room I've ever stayed in!!!!!
Staff: All staff super friendly. A+
Location: A+ perfect for me taking a Uber to the Argganis Arena
Location was great - super close to the T. Right in Brookline Village, so plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was very quiet, nicely decorated, big for its size, and indeed sunny (the view isnt great but having all those windows was really nice)!
The location was good with some local restaurants and eating places open fairly late when I arrived, including the bar within the hotel. The check-in staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The hotel is very close to the metro. There are a lot of markets and restaurants around. In general was very quite. The room was very clean and it seems that was renovated recently. It had also a microwave, fridge and coffee machine.
The woman of the housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. I think that many other hotels would like to have an employee like here. The building is fabulous with a victorian style. I liked it.
NOTHING !! It was OLD DUSTY SMELLY DANGEROUS and av HAZZARD. THE FIRE ESCAPE WAS IN MY ROOM ON THE 4TH FLOOR. PLEASE NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE EVEN IF IT WAS FREE!!
The hotel was positioned well for a visit to Boston in a nice area and just an easy tram ride in to all the main areas. The decor of the hotel was also very nice.
