The cost of our queen quite was quite nice. The ceilings on the third floor were quite high and made the room seem even larger. My husband and I stayed with our 3 kids here who are 10, 8, and 5. We all had plenty of specs to feel comfortable and slept great in our beds.

The bed was comfortable and has soft pillows instead of the hockey pucks found in a lot of hotels. The room and bathroom were clean, but could use a bit of work. The staff was very nice and helpful. Fairly easy on and off the freeway, but far enough away that it was nice and quiet.

Historic factor, uniqueness factor, and privacy of not sharing walls with another unit and a private parking spot. The bed was actually extremely comfortable and I appreciated and very nice comforter on the bed, I can't stand newspaper feeling cheap hotel blankets and this was the exact opposite of that, fantastic.

Went for Grand Historic Tour but wish our trip allowed time for hiking some of the trails. Plan to return next year and do a different tour along with hiking. Our Ranger (guide) was outstanding with a vast amount of historical knowledge of the cave and a great sense of humor as well.

Enjoyed proximity to the activities we planned.
Enjoyed proximity to the activities we planned. Restaurant situation is not great but we made it work..I would avoid the Mexican restaurant adjacent to the motel. It's cute outside but the food is meh.

Everyone in our family ages 18. months to 68years old enjoyed our first cave experience. Our guide was peppered with questions from all of us and she replied with the same energy that our group was giving. The 3 year old informed us that she had bevome BFF's with our tour guide. The cave was an amazing sight to behold. Formations made with water, minerals, and time simply but beautiful.

So much to do in the area.
So much to do in the area. Sleep in a wigwam at the historic Wigwam Village No.2 (Great stop for motorcyclists and families) Caverns, attractions, landmarks, great views and minutes from other attractions like the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Beech Bend Park and Raceway and beautiful Barren River State Park. Great area for motorcycling off the interstate via US31W and US31E that will take you from the Ohio River at Louisville, KY, and south to Lebanon and Nashville, TN.

we enjoyed our time at Mammoth Caves, the park is well run and the tours are informative and great to see. Pick a tour that fits your energy and physical level of fitness. We did a 5mile hike around the park, good paths to follow and well marked.
We usually avoid hotels where you can enter the rooms from the outdoors because they typically will have some shady characters going in and out and always smells like smoke. Not this one. Smelled clean, had plenty of outlets near the bed so that we could be in bed using our phones and charging at the same time. Comfy beds and pillows, plenty of towels for the both of us and even breakfast, which we didn’t have because we slept in but was a good option to have in case we wanted it.
The owners were awesome. It's fantastic that they want to save this bit of history. One of the best things is that they really want to preserve not only the physical part, but the spirit behind it. Keith comes out every night and starts a fire in the fire pit, encouraging guests to socialize. Form what we experienced, it seems to work really well. Before this, I've rarely had actual conversations with other hotel guest when I travel. Keep up the good work!
This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at within the area.
The entire facility is spotless and very clean.
The workers there were also very nice, every time we would go in the lobby we would be greeted with a smile or a good morning. The food for breakfast is also really good, with a wide variety. By the looks of it, it seems like the employees there really take care of the hotel and strive to keep it up to date and clean.
It seems like these days a good hot breakfast in a hotel is hard to find. Comfort in paid out in spades with a great spread. On top of that, the room was spectacular with high ceilings seeming to make the room much bigger. The King size bed was exquisitely comfortable and the shower felt perfect. It's proximity to the Mammoth Cave systems made it the perfect place to rest our heads. The low price made it even better.
The motel is convenient for my business travels between Alabama and Chicago. It is close to the interstate and local restaurants. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is an older one, but it has been updated and is kept very clean. The price is excellent. This was my second stay, and there will undoubtedly be more.

Clean room/ quiet
I will stay there again on my next trip
The fact that there is a sign on the front desk stating they will not book a room for anyone that lives within 50 miles means no loud hotel parties which was a plus.
All the staff members were awesome
The hotel is in a good location, staff was friendly and helpful, including a call to be sure everything looked satisfactory in our room. Room was clean and we appreciated having a mini fridge and microwave as well as a coffeemaker.
