The day we were there. There was no air throughout the entire hotel. Kids running all around in the hallway. Front desk staff very unprofessional. We couldn’t even stay the night . The room was so hot

Staff was friendly and the check-in process was smooth, especially after a long trip. The location was next to a gas station and a cracker barrell. Another additional perk was free grubhub delivery which was really nice to have after a long trip. The bed was extremely comfortable for two adults and a 5 year old to sleep in.

Dont go there . I've stayed at other Candlewood hotels in VA. Whatever you do stay away from Candlewood Chester, PA. The front end desk manger is just as bad as the prison that's across the street from there. Way much better service at the Candlewood in Va .

I will never in life stay at this hotel ever again I was given a dirty room with dirty sheets then when I went downstairs to complain they gave me a second Room with throw up all in his sink.. That was the nastiest thing I have ever experienced in my life. With this Pandemic going on they gave me 2 nasty rooms they are not professional and don't care about the customer safety.

Customer service needs to be better.
Customer service needs to be better. The front desk manager I thought needed some work. The girl that checked me in she was nice and courteous. I wanted a king size room but ended up getting a queen size room because they didn’t have the room available. The microwave didn’t work but was offered a different room. I have a disability so it’s not so easy for me to up and move everything to a different room. It was all coffee grounds in the coffee maker when we went went to go make coffee. Won’t be back…

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone after the experience our family has had from the shake down check in..asked for $150 deposit after pre payment online... had to change rooms to find a clean ones .. had management walk in on my female relatives and wouldn't let cleaning a window be done after we check out! Grateful we didn't learn of that until we're home! Nasty is best way to describe the situation and most of the rooms! No repeat customers!

Very close to the Philadelphia airport.
Very close to the Philadelphia airport.
The carpet is too old and smells.
Hair dryer, microwave and alarm clock were all not in place when I checked in. I made requests to get those items. One of the lay at front desk forgot about my request and I waited for her delivery of a hair dryer until 11:00pm. I was tired but couldn't sleep. I had to go down to the front desk the 2nd time to ask. Fortunately, the boys at the front desk were very nice to provide good services to help me.

I wasn't there long enough to do any real exploring, but the locals were very friendly and helped me find my way around. It's close to major highways and tons of shopping centers in new jersey , Pa & De.
Terrible location, deserted and not so safe neighborhood, I was trying to find a local place for the dinner drove to couple of places within 5-10 min radius of the hotel, thanks to google search but felt very unsafe with the family, there were folks hanging around and drinking on the streets! When I checked in I was looking at the safety instructions posted inside the room, I felt strange but it all made sense. I would never ever stay in this place.
The breakfast was really the only decent thing.
The room wasn't very clean, the peep hole was stuffed with tissue, the fridge leaked, the shuttle bus was totally unreliable and each time I spoke to front desk I felt like I was annoying them. My Uber driver also told me Chester is not a particularly safe area. It served my purpose (in and out) but I would not recommend.
It was my first visit to philadelphia and lots of hotels here are overrated. This was a big wonder for me that this hotel doesn't provide water bottles 😳 to its customers be it into rooms or at resto. Non smoking rooms are a joke which they will crack on you once u entered into room 😷 😮💨.
Confortable bed, big room, good facilities. Shower working fine, great breakfast. Location is a little far from Philadelphia, but is is ok by car. Parking lot is free and also there are available parking spots in the street in front of the hotel. Quiet place.
Overall I found this hotel to be a very pleasant experience. My room was very clean, the breakfast was good, the staff friendly and helpful and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this to those who need to stay in the area.
very clean, very new hotel with a very friendly staff. called and booked a room after a phillies game and was able to check in later than the normal business hours.
checking out was a breeze.
It was such a spacious room with everything we needed in it. The beds were very comfy and location felt very safe.
