The friendliness of one gentle lady who was present both when I checked in and when I checked out. That made all the difference for me. I travel often across the country and I stayed in many hotels. What I have observed is that staff are friendlier when you check in than when you check out. In the case of the Fairfield in Dickson, I was delighted to have been proven wrong. I will definitely stay there again.

Clean room, good lighting, comfortable bed, hot shower
There was nothing to like.
It was muddy, in disrepair, the room smelled vaguely of mothballs and stale smoke. When I had to walk through water from my car to the steps for the room I request a refund or transfer to another quality in and they refused saying it was a non refundable room. Booking .com should never have booked rooms in this hotel. After being in the phone with booking. Com they said thanks for the complaint but “too bad”
Horrible experience

The area has a lot to do for a small town.
The area has a lot to do for a small town. Downtown area is very southern and welcoming. Nice little restaurants and very walk friendly. Weekend nights are crowded but weeknights are really nice. Give this little town a try. Avoid holiday inn express but Fairfield inn and Hampton inn are really good choices for your stay.

Everything I came for was close by.
Everything I came for was close by. There were a lot of different food options as well as hotel options. Some of the places were difficult to get in and out of and some of the hotels weren't on the road, but instead they were in a parking lot of something else.

I like the location but sadly the linen & towels looked old, sad, unappealing with many stains
We went to see the night auditor and personal asked him if he would use the towels, he said NO
he said: ‘these towels shouldn’t have been left there’

We went here for a wedding at The Ruskin.
We went here for a wedding at The Ruskin. The town was quite busy, but didn't seem it had much to offer for entertainment. There's a small selection of chain and local restaurants. I don't think I would go here for a vacation.
Bed comfy mini fridge was awesome, didn't take maybe an hour at most to freeze or at least slush a drink, location pretty good, nice flat screen tv but didn't even turn it on.. nice staff but not very social. I love the fact that it was a smoking room as not a lot of them exist anymore. What happened to everyone being accommodated no matter what hotel, used to have options at every hotel or the majority of them anyway.

Was not truly pet friendly! Staff refused to provide a do not disturb sign! They claim to be a pet friendly, but they do not allow the pet to be left unattended for any period of time and threaten you with a $250 fee! They literally told my husband that we could not even go to eat breakfast together and leave our pet in the room! They look through windows to check on you and do not respect your privacy!
I stayed one night in room 101.
There were no hairs in the bedding or on the towels (after having multiple hotels with this).
Parked right outside of the room which made it easy to carry things in and out.
Liked the big mirror and countertop outside of the bathroom.
Good size fridge (traveling with food on a longer road trip).
Overall, it was decent and I would stay again if in the area.
Location is great easy access to freeway plenty of restaurants and stores all around even a marathon store right on property no breakfast was offered due to covid restrictions. Simple hotel no frills well light exterior can be noisey lots of work crews stay here staff did try to accommodate our needs and was friendly and attentive
The most comfortable bed and pillows, room darkening curtains. This was the cheapest of the four hotels we stayed at during our vacation. It was the best! Great location, lots of restaurants, easy to exit and enter the highway.
Very accommodating staff and management who allowed us to keep our truck and trailer in direct site of security and security cameras.
The hotel is new and in excellent condition with a salt water pool.
The room had been redone with new carpet and furniture. And the bed did not have the duvet that so many hotels use. We prefer the light blanket rather than the duvet which can be too warm.
The breakfast was very good and have a good choices of food . Coffee really good .
Don’t like the hotel location, too closed to the highway and it makes it difficult to sleep at night .
Breakfast was ok. The cold did was cold and the hot food was cold. The shower had hot water which was a great plus seeing is how the last two hotels did not
