There was a lot I liked. Room was clean and modern. Bed was comfy. It was in a very good location. Very short drive to store, liquor, restaurants, tourist areas and the Interstate. A pub/craft brewery across the road made exceptional beer and food and had a nice patio. There is an outdoor patio type area with furniture (and I think a BBQ) that groups could use to chill and socialize at the hotel.

We had a wonderful one night stay. Dave and Kelleigh were prefect hosts and breakfast was excellent, topped off by grandma’s crumb cake. They are located a few blocks from the outlet stores and it was a perfect base for our shopping excursions. We would definitely stay again.

we first went to Freeport in the 1980s. Loved the chance to shop and get some deals on locally made articles at a number of stores. As more of the items were made out of the country the deals kind of slowly ended and when the big mall opened and the pandemic hit, many of the stores we liked best moved. Now the LL Bean Outlet has the exact same items as the one in Ellsworth, a much smaller collection of items.
otherwise there is little reason to visit anymore for more than a few hours.

The Casco Bay Inn was our lodging choice based on value from other reviews. We got the value we’d hoped for. The outlet stores and food options were all great and we had a fantastic time.
We were there in April 2024. We enjoyed the early season benefits of low traffic volume, easy parking and uncrowded sidewalks. And while some seasonal businesses were closed there were plenty of opportunities to eat and shop.

We enjoyed taking in the stunning Maine fall foliage this weekend that included a stop in Freeport. We had dinner at the Muddy Rudder in nearby Yarmouth, and breakfast at the Freeport Cafe. My eggs benedict were great, but the grilled orange chocolate muffin I took to go was out of this world! At downtown Freeport Village there are a multitude of shopping outlets, a variety of restaurants, ample free parking and wide sidewalks and crosswalks make getting around easy. We shopped the LL Bean stores of course. This Freeport shopping excursion ended with a considerable haul for the newest member of our family from the Carter's Osh Kosh b'Gosh store, where we found some fantastic bargains.

The town of Freeport is darling!
The town of Freeport is darling! I would highly recommend visiting it. We went to the LL Bean compound; VERY impressive, and it's HUGE! Part of the retail space is open 24/7! We had excellent service and baked goods and coffee at The Bakeshop cafe.

We love LLBean!
We love LLBean! The other stores in the immediate area have something for everyone. We also like 3 of the local gift shops - Mangy Moose, Sherman’s, and The Blue Lobster. We ate lunch at the Harrakeeset Lunch and Lobster on the Wharf and also Linda Bean’s Maine Kitchen and Topside Tavern. For dinner we ate at The Taste of Maine which is about a half hour drive up Rt.1 in Woolwich which is just above Bath. Well worth the trip!
It is very easy to get around in Freeport and parking if you don't stay at the Hilton is free and easy to find.
This place is adorable, the perfect little cabin stay near Freeport. It was very clean, no bugs, and the kitchen was well stocked (cups, plates, utensils, pots/pans, dish soap and sponge). We loved that you can actually use the fireplace and that they stocked you with wood and paper to get it started. The heater worked well in the room, so we were fine temperature-wise the whole time (we stayed mid-October so this could've been an issue). The cabins are far enough apart, as long as you're not super loud you have plenty of privacy.
Nothing. We did NOT stay overnight as I felt unsafe there, both in the facility and especially in the room itself: access door from hotel wing to customer parking lot was both unlocked and propped open, allowing access to anyone who happened by; the peep hole in the room door was plugged, so that you could not see a person on the other side of the door.
I requested a refund immediately and was told to contact Booking.com, which I have done. Their response was to send me this survey. I'm not impressed.
The club old club atmosphere was a nice change from the usual US hotel, let alone motel. Our room was confortable and quiet.
The hotel offered afternoon tea with cookies 🍪 which was very nice. Breakfast was definitely a hit with a choice of freshly cooked scrambled eggs, frittatas, oatmeal, bacon and sausages and a choice of fruit juices.
We realized that the town was amongst other things on big outlet village within walking distance of the hotel, very convenient.
B breakfast was great the room was great I guess the guests in the other room slamming doors at 12:00 in the morning wasn't great and the noise from the turnpike wasn't great but the hotel was very clean and work as a very pleasant and helpful I couldn't get internet and the first night of the second night I asked for help and the lady helped me but the facility is a very very clean and very pleasant
This hotel has so much charm! I felt transported back in time to an elegant mansion but with a modern twist. An amazing Breakfast buffet and a tea time with delicate sandwiches and pastries were included.. A wonderful pool, 2 restaurants and outdoor seating with a fire pit all located within walking distance to great shopping.
Very friendly hosts. Amazing breakfast just a peaceful clean place to stay. It's close to everything in Freeport. My husband and I will definitely stay there again. Please people just give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Thx bill &Mary Ann for having us
The breakfast is a three-course breakfast with coffee, tea and juice, and with a very creative presentation to each dish which was delicious!!!
The Inn is located on Main St within walking distance of the restaurants and shopping in Freeport.
Located in Freeport downtown near all the shops and outlets. Walking distance to all attractions. The hotel is a typical Hilton hotel. There is a bar where you can get some food at night. Adequate but not a restaurant per se.
It was just what we were looking for. A good place to stop for the night and rest, enough room for 4 of us, and the price was right. Much better than crowding into an extremely overpriced hotel room.
The hotel was a good price and one of the only available options for that date. It was clean and had larger room which was nice. The breakfast was also a bonus.
This is the most affordable hotel of any quality near Portland that’s also affordable! It’s our new favorite destination when we go to Portland for shows now.
