The woman that checked us in ( Shelly, I was told.) was so sweet and kind! The room was great, especially since my son is in a wheelchair. Breakfast was great for us too! We really enjoyed our visit.

I was impressed by this “2” star hotel, I thought I was booking a cheap motel and was shown something different. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also surprisingly good.rooms were clean and spacious.

Grinnell is a very nice little town.

We have been traveling cross country and have had to stay in boring, nondescript hotels all along the way - except for Hotel Grinnell! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole facility was so charming and clever in its decor. The town of Grinnell is cute and lively. There is a beautiful big park across the street from the hotel and they had a free concert playing that we listened to while eating dinner outside at the hotel restaurant. We were just so surprised to find such a great town and hotel.
