The location is close to amenities and attractions without being in the middle and feeling overwhelmed by it all. There are TONS of food options within close range. Close to the highway without being up against the noise. In a suite, there is plenty of seating for 4 people without feeling cramped. It's a good separation from a work space to a sleeping space.

Location is great, people we dealt with were very good. Liked the breakfast setup of everyone at one big table, led to lots of good conversation.

The restaurants in Independence are over rated via recommendations of those who live there in terms of quality and taste of food. Yet, the beautiful, quiet, fun, most interesting place with the most delicious breakfast is close to all of our favorite venues. The owner Kim and along with staff members Robin, Deb, Sheila, the handy Man are all very welcoming making us and other guest feel right at home. An Absolutely Amazing experience however, we would recommend finding restaurants elsewhere in the metro area.

It's a nice place to stay at, the facility was clean and everything
was in good working order. The check in staff was friendly and professional. But I did experience a minor service issue with the third shift attendant. I had book for four guest and made a request for 2 more wash clothes, she gave me a hard time about it she said that she was following corporate policy, so I asked for the corporate information. After that exchange she gave my daughter the towels as I had requested.

Independence yes historic and once probably a beautiful town. But now sadly it's been over turned by crooked greedy police breaking and going against our constitutional rights. Full of playcaters and sideways lawmakers

Quaint, friendly town.
Quaint, friendly town. Very peaceful and we could walk around Independence Square without fear. A lot of history and shops and restaurants. But, we found that so much around the square is closed on Sunday and Monday’s. Especially restaurants. I think we found only 2 which was Square Pizza (which was very good) and a barbecue place that we didn’t eat at. There is Harry S. Truman history everywhere as well as the Santa Fe and Oregon trail history. The Vaile Mansion and Bingham-Waggoner Estate should be a must see. Also, the 1859 Jail Museum and the Chicago &Alton Depot next to the Frontier Museum. We were here for a weekend get away and stayed at a wonderful B&B called Silver Heart Inn & Cottages. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the relaxed , friendly atmosphere. We will come back!

This hotel was disappointing, especially for the price we paid. It was not at all as described on the website. The room was run down and dirty. The front door would not close completely. The linens had cigarette burns on them. No fridge or microwave. The bathroom was small and dirty, no towels available. Only small hand towels. The only good thing about the property was the location.

Independence is a buzzing little area on the east side of the city. Easily navigated if you stay along i70. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, and interesting things to do. The historic downtown area is cool too.
Breakfast was very good and the breakfast attendant was a Gem!! She was a real sweetheart. The breakfast area was very clean and good variety of breakfast items including the waffles. The hotel/front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked for extra pillows, towels and other items. The room was spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff gave us the option to have our room made up but we declined. The fridge in the room was nice and cold which kept our milk and other items properly refrigerated.
The location had me question the hotel. it was tucked away behind a run down restaurant. When we got to our room, it was a pleasant surprise! the room smelled clean as soon as we walked in. it was spacious with a nice bed and a couch with a pull out sofa. The pool was not working at the time, but we weren’t planning on using this amenity. the price was great for the room! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and use it again in the future.
The hotel is well located. There are many restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately there is a security problem. Homeless people frequent the area. One couple had even infiltrated the hotel and had gained access to the room I was assigned. Someone triggered the fire alarm during the night. The room was a mixture of updated and shabby. The chair in the room needed to be reupholstered or replaced.
Everything! The room was spotless from floor to ceiling! The bathroom was exceptionally clean! Check in was a breeze! Staff was Amazing!!! I will Definitely stay here Everytime I am in Independence mo. I haven't been to a motel that was this Amazing and Clean in at least a decade! I would recommend to everyone!
Loved the cottage with separate living, dining, kitchen, and bedroom. Loved the fireplace, the breakfast was good and the staff was excellent. Very helpful and answered all our questions and gave us advice of other places nearby.
Did not have breakfast
Was a clean, quiet room. Got good rest after our concert at Arrowhead stadium. Hotel is located conveniently off of the highway and near a lot of food options. Was a good rate and we enjoyed our stay.
Great hotel for the price it was clean and quiet. Rented a room for a Royals game, Booked the room ahead of time. Arrived had no issues. Room was clean, Beds & Pillows were good. Definitely would reuse in the future again.
The hotel was so gross and the worst place i ever stayed. I was booked for 3 nights and the 1st night i was there i found 2 bed bugs on the bed. i checked out immediately. And of course they booking.com wont refund me.
There was nothing that we liked. We did not even stay in the room. We chose to drive home rather than stay after our event due to the disgusting condition of the room and the unsafe conditions surrounding the hotel.
Hotel prairie/western themed style unique, tasteful. Our “bunk bed suite” accommodated 5 of us with room to spare. Felt like we were spending the evening in a dude ranch bunkhouse! Friendly and helpful staff.
There was a welcoming and safe feel to this hotel as the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was easily accessible and quiet. There was a Starbucks within walking distance for my morning coffee.
I was there for business , so walking distance reach independence mall and a few good restaurants but not sure again I can walk it was really dark at night time
