Huge fight directly outside my room with what looked like a hooker and her pimp. I am yet to have my deposit returned. Spoke with 2 separate employees and first one was clueless. Second one said she would handle it. I was refunded $5.55 and not even on the chime card I used for my deposit. I want my $50 deposit back

Lafayette is a great town, lots of dining options.
Lafayette is a great town, lots of dining options. The room at this facility was terrible. One light in the entire room. Bed linens looked dirty and looked to not have been changed from the previous guest. Bathroom linens were not hung on the racks and some were missing. one rack was laying behind the stool and the fasteners were still open on the wall. TV was stuffed on top of the wardrobe. Coffee pot, (No coffee) was on top of the microwave, shoved in a corner. When I dropped a pill on the floor, I found items left from previous guests between the bed and AC unit. Scary experience, Property looked nice on the outside. Room was horrible. Do not book at this facility before looking at your room!

It's exactly what you'd assume it is.
It's exactly what you'd assume it is. The neighborhoods near the Kampen Golf Course are nice. As with most cities, it's not as pedestrian friendly as it could be, but there are some sidewalk/trails to put one foot in front of the other.

People make the place.
People make the place. I found the various places I visited (restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc.) that people were cordial and took pride in their work.
Otherwise, Lafayette was pretty clean, traveling about was smooth and without hectic traffic, and the main strip offered pretty much everything a guest would want.

Lovely city, GREAT restaurants.
Lovely city, GREAT restaurants. Ya gotta go to Arni's original location, have a JR salad and pizza! (pepperoni is ground up, not in circles!) Another must is Lindo Mexico, beautiful place and awesome food!
Tour Purdue!
Take a drive out and about!
I have a family reunion every year in the area and have been staying at this hotel since the first year it was open. Love the location and the staff is always so friendly. I'm always with my 80+ year old mother and aunt and the handicap accessible room has plenty of space for all their things and walkers. They are both diabetic also and having the refrigerator and kitchen area is great for having food and supplies for blood sugar drops, etc.
I came here with my family and we really appreciated how easy the hotel was to locate and how close it was to other things around to eat and do. Everyone was kind, the room was clean and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed themselves and the pool. Also the courtyard by the pool was relaxing and easy to watch the kids. Everyone was highly satisfied and would definitely recommend.
The staff was very welcoming. The room was clean. Pool area and outside clean. This is our first travel since covid19 so this a very nice, clean hotel to stay in. Room was clean. Bathroom clean. They had complimentary breakfast and dinner that was a nice surprise.
Thank you for making our travel plans safe and fun.
Traveling for work the hotel room was clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was a bunch of sugary snacks in a brown paper bag and sometimes there was no one at the front desk to distribute it. The fitness center has nice equipment but was filthy dirty.
The staff was amazing. The hotel was clean quiet and relaxing. Overall best hotel stay I have had in the Lafayette area. Washer and dryer worked first wash and dry most hotels I've been to the dryer normally regardless of load size has to go at least two times.
Everything the staff is helpful the rooms were clean I felt very comfortable and they had a hot breakfast with oatmeal eggs sausage toast waffles the first time I've been in a hotel that they've had that hot breakfast again it was great
The Hotel was Great.! The city , not so much. But the Hotel and the staff was amazing. Definitely one of my favorite hotel chains to book with, will check for the doubletree in my next city that I am in.
The hotel is really clean; the room is very wide, big enough to workout inside. It also has two large tables, one underneath the other. Inside the bathroom, the shower is long and has a glass door.
Room and washroom were quiet enough space for 4 people. There were cereal, waffle, juice, yogurt, coffee and fruit in breakfast. It was nice place to eat and rest. Walmart was very close to hotel.
Loved the inclusive Dinner, breakfast and 3 alc beverages a day during happy hour- what?!? And all for any amazing price and beautiful, clean hotel with happy staff- don’t see this often enough!
It's nice enough considering the price. Nice and clean.
Standard hotel layout. Great location. 10 minutes from downtown Lafayette. 20 or so from the university, depending on traffic.
Honestly, there was nothing that I liked about this hotel. The only benefit of staying here was that was close to Purdue University and we stayed there while visiting campus.
