The room was incredibly large, probably double the size of most comparable hotel rooms. The staff were very accommodating even providing a snack for my elderly mother. The breakfast was very good and the always had coffee, tea and hot chocolate available.

The room was clean, bright with TV, fridge, iron, but no microwave in it - however we could use what's in the lunch room. Also the hotel provides coffee/ tea all the night long. Will definitely come back again.

Mystic is a great getaway town.
Mystic is a great getaway town. The attractions were excellent. We could easily have spent more time in each of them. Seaport Museum was amazing. The Aquarium was one of the best we've been to. Submarine museum in Groton was well worth visiting. Downtown restaurants were great. Olde Mystik Village was a shoppers paradise. Great place for early autumn long weekend.
We enjoyed our meals at the Mystic Diner excellent food huge portions, Red 36 at the Seaport, Jealous Monk in Olde Mystic Village. Every person we encountered was as pleasant and personable as could be. Food was great. Just a really comfortable interesting happy feeling place.

Mystic is full of quaint historical attractions on a pretty coastline. Downtown is full of fun shops and restaurants. The aquarium is very popular as is the Old Mistick Village. The Mystic Seaport is a wonderful reenactment of an 18 century port town and shipyard.

Mystic was a great getaway spot.
Mystic was a great getaway spot. Everything was very easy to walk to. We rarely even had to start our car during the trip. There were an incredible number of dining options. The views of the harbors were spectacular and easily accessible. We stopped at the Aquarium on the way out of town and that was a fantastic last-minute decision, and well worth the price of admission, if even just for the Beluga whales.
The location of this hotel is excellent! It overlooks Olde Misteck Village and at this time of year (holiday lights) that is a big bonus! There is a great Mexican restaurant right next store within walking distance. It is close to town too and very easy to get to right off the highway. The room is spacious, the beds super comfy, and the bathroom was sparkling clean and spacious. The breakfast was the usual free breakfast fare, but very good with a wide variety of items to choose from.
Location was wonderful. Taber Inn grounds are fabulous. Room was freshly painted and lovely breakfast pack with coffee pastry and fruit delivered to room was much appreciated. Hosts Tom and Joe were very hrlpful, friendly and welcoming and had wonderful suggestions for things to do in Mystic. Overall I highly recommend this Inn and indeed the town of Mystic. Highly recommend to other travellers.
This inn is right in the middle of downtown Mystic, making all restaurants and shops so easily accessible. The room was lovely and the bathroom was beautiful. I loved the coffee, cookies, and whatnot in the lobby. We did not eat breakfast or any meals in the restaurant but it definitely seemed busy and I have heard great things about it. The staff was excellent.
The room was clean and enough space, the bed was clean and comfortable, the lights all worked, the AC worked, the shower was hot and good pressure, the room was quiet, ample parking, right across from a Dunkin Donuts, very convenient location, close to Mystic, I-95. Desk staff (Dina) was very helpful, friendly. I did not use the outdoor pool.
The room was incredibly large, probably double the size of most comparable hotel rooms. The staff were very accommodating even providing a snack for my elderly mother. The breakfast was very good and the always had coffee, tea and hot chocolate available.
The staff members were very friendly and helpful! My room was very clean and comfortable! A delicious breakfast was brought to my room! The location is perfect to enjoy all the attractions in Mystic, Connecticut! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
The continental breakfast was good, the staff was friendly, and the room was spacious and clean. The location great. I highly recommend The Mystic Diner & Restaurant and Mango's wood-fired pizza. Both only a couple minutes drive.
staff was very attentive and polite; hotel was very clean; and excellent location, right across the street from Old Mystic Village and Aquarium; and excellent restaurants within walking distance; Pink Basil; Go Fish,
We stopped for one day in Mystic, on our way to another destination. The Whaler's Inn was close to shops and restaurants by foot. For an overnight stay, the room was convenient for our needs and very clean.
I liked the easy on and off to I95. I like that everything I planned on doing was very close. The Mystic Diner was in front of the hotel for meals. The pool was clean and not budy.
I liked that the hotel was next to everything. The rooms were so clean. The bed is very comfortable. I liked that we can connect our Netflix on the TV. The parking was great.
We went to foxwoods to meet a friend. We are from NJ and we wanted to stay in mystic for the cute little town and pizza . Your hotel was great in between it all .
Clean, comfortable, quiet room. 24hr beverage station and breakfast bagels. Plenty of parking and near to several tourist areas including Mystic Sea Port Museum.
Very friendly staff. The room was very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. This was one of the most pleasant hotel stays I've ever experienced.
