A large modern hotel which had a good sized, bright room and was comfortable and clean. The room facilities were good, but I would have liked a room safe especially as St Paul is not a city you feel safe to wander round in. Location-wise it is well placed for the capital building and for the light railway which runs just behind the hotel to Minniapolis, but it is a bit of a walk from the downtown. One member of staff on reception was very pleasant and helpful, whereas another was much less so and she seemed quite bored with it all. The breakfast was average. I can't say the hotel felt particularly good value for money.

Easy to get around the city. Streets are well signed and traffic did not seem to be too congested. We visited the St. Paul Grill at the St. Paul hotel and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service.
The hotel is an historic building with the charm of the early 20th century hotels. Excellent ambience for a world class meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We really enjoyed making a walking tour around the historic downtown buildings. We also went up to Dayton's Bluff to view the city and park area. The historic homes around that area are really fun to see as well.
We also spent a lot of time walking around Union Station. Such an amazing landmark. We ate breakfast at The Buttered Tin. Delicious!

The staff were people of color and the manger was black.
The staff were people of color and the manger was black. For the area it's was actually very well kept. I love you see my people in lead position. Bathroom was nasty but everything has at least one shortcoming.

attended Wild hockey game and everything there was excellent. Very courteous employees. Beautiful city with good restaurant choices. Easy to get around.
The Skywalk was a bit unnerving as about 5 minutes into our walk from hotel towards Xcel Energy Center, we encountered several "loiterers" enjoying their drugs, goofing around, partially blocking walkways. There was very little walking traffic and no sort of security that we saw. After 5 minutes we exited the Skywalk and walked the streets. This took place on a Saturday late morning and might be totally different on a weekday

Within walking distance to the hotel was a lovely park with an unexpected Thursday night concert. Food trucks, beer area and live music. Wonderful for a summer evening. Saint Paul Summit Street has lovely mansions and takes you by the Basilica. A nice laid back city.

I was in town for a Minnesota Wild game and I was looking for a place to stay for the night and this hotel completely exceeded my expectations!! It had an excellent view of the Mississippi River and downtown St Paul!!The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was super clean and comfortable. The next time I decide to stay the night in downtown St Paul after a Minnesota Wild game this will be my go to every time, highly recommended to everyone!!
Check in was easy, room was clean, modern, and well kept. Parking is plentiful though I chose to park across the street there is a ramp in the hotel itself which costs a bit more. There are snacks in the lobby, which was great for late night. I like the area near the breakfast bar as there is lots of seating and even some outdoor options.
The free breakfast was excellent and there were lots of choices. The hotel is clean with comfy beds and fresh white linens. We had a king size bed and a sofa bed for my kids separated by the minibar and bathroom on the other side. There are two large TV as well. The friendly front desk staff was helpful and welcoming.
Nice clean hotel. With super friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are nice and large with big windows, making it bright and cheery inside. My wife had a teleconference that popped up on our last day and we needed a very late checkout. The staff was super accommodating which was very helpful.
Great, nice and helpful service. Breakfasts was very nice thanks to Viviane, who made it very homelike. Hotel has a small, but very nice pool and gym. Rooms were comfortable, so I have nothing to criticize. And the price-to-comfort ratio was great!
The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful!
The hotel was clean and comfortable
Great breakfast included
Excellent location for event at Xcel Energy Center - we were able to walk to the event.
The pool area was clean and nobody else was there. It was bright with beautiful natural light and it was clean. The staff were great and virtually had the entire hotel to myself
the hotel feels a bit old, but everything was clean and in good shape. The staff was very nice and they have a free shuttle if you’re attending an event at the arena.
Very secure, very clean and close to many attractions. Hotel staff were great. They have their own parking ramp. The pool is very nice as well as the fitness center.
I like that that there were some rooms with bigger bathrooms. Also, I like the fact that there were a lot of food area near the hotel, didn’t have to travel far.
