The Residence Inn was a great choice for us in Vail. The hotel has all the amenities you need for your ski trip. Their shuttle service to Vail Village is very convenient and runs every 15 minutes until 10pm. Parking is great! Without knowing too much about other hotels in Vail, I think it is an excellent option in terms of price/benefit without ever feeling like a low-cost hotel (which it is not). 100% recommended.

It is all about the skiing for most people, and the Vail ski resort is amazing. Hard to beat as a ski destination. It is generally a very expensive place to stay but there are many options available to you.
As a town, feels a bit disjointed with the two main locations of Vail Village and Lionshead being separated. If you come without your own transport, get used to having to take buses/shuttles most places. Having said that, the transport system is incredibly good once you work it all out. Lots of places to eat, moreso in Vail Village.
As it is also under Epic Pass, easy to ski Beaver Creek during your stay in Vail, with a great (free) bus service mostly every 20 mins from Vail to BC and only takes about half an hour. It is a shame that the same is not available for Breckenridge, another Epic resort.

Amazing mountain!
Amazing mountain! You can’t beat the vastness of this mountain. There is something for everyone and every level of skiing.
The village is awesome with plenty of restaurants and shops. I would avoid this place on busy holiday weekends.

We visited during the autumn when the aspen colors were at their peak. Incredible views everywhere. Nice warm sun and cool nights. Village was pretty quiet as it was "between seasons" which made for a very relaxing visit, with no waits for restaurants, etc. Very easy to walk around the public areas.

Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town.
Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town. It is a credit to the locals who seem to take great pride in their town. It has the benefit natural beauty with its surrounding mountains. The free electric bus service that teavels around the town is a great way to see the sights including the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens which are well worth a visit .

To take showers it’s impossible the water is just little ear don’t com hot water

I check out 2nits in advance relating with contortions of cold in rooms and they refuse to return money for two nights .
Very bad experience I don’t recommend no one to rent this property…
there was no service in the area, so accessing the door code info when the got to the place was impossible. we needed to go back into town and drive around until we got service to receive the info.
the condo was very nice, clean and well equipped. also in a good central location. getting into the village where the restaurants and such were was also easy and convienient.
We were four adults (2 couples) and found this condo very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and the unit was newly remodeled. The shuttle was a 5 minute walk and a 10-15 minute ride, but only to Vail Village. An in-town bus was necessary to go to Lion's Head. The rental agent was very responsive. Though our bedrooms had a highway view the unit was quiet.
Location was fantastic and the facility was everything you'd expect in a 5 star hotel in a mountain resort. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The pool and spa were well maintained and wonderful. The room was aptly furnished with plenty of sitting area and a small, well stocked kitchen.
First floor room was convenient Unit was pretty clean except for the piece of waffle in the bedroom closet. Close enough to the club house. Sauna, pool and hot tubs were good. Bus stop was convenient. Close enough to Vail village if driving a car.
The location is absolutely perfect: for skiing and enjoying the Village
The personnel: friendly, helpful, attentive; especially the concierge
The accommodation: lovely, cozy, clean, including common areas
Location to Vail Village was perfect. We ended up with an outside facing room so that was great for the view. The free van was great getting us back and forth from the villages was convenient.
Beautiful hotel! Staff was great, always helpful and nice. Perfect location in Lionshead Village. Shuttle service made it super convenient to visit nearby Vail Village.
Rooms were exceptionally clean, and the hotel and public transport options were excellent. Terry at the front desk went out of his way to be helpful. Highly recommend.
LOVE VAIL - The best place where everyone can ski, snowboard regardless of their level of experience. Plus, the city is so charming and the food and bars are great!
