I liked that it was very close to the freeway and Washington DC , within one hour of Dulles Airport. I liked the very friendly staff, indeed not just friendly but helpful, especially Tabitha.

We were visiting the Shanandoah National Park and found this guest house nearby. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a Fridge, coffee maker and tv. The host, Julie, left notes about the local places to eat and gave advise on our arrival.

Not far from Natural Bridge, Staunton (train rides), Luray, Shenandoah Caverns, Grand Caverns, Cedar Creek Battlefield, Fisher's Hill Battlefield. Fun things to see and do. Spring House Tavern is a great spot for dinner.

The hotel was great, but two of the three restaurants/fast food we ate at were filthy, some of the worst we've ever seen.
The one we had dinner at was amazing, wonderful Japanese food (Sakura 22). Very clean! Highly recommend!

I was so happy to see the Breakfast selection was so large - there was something for everyone - and I appreciated the sweet woman keeping it clean, well stocked and fresh!!!
We did not explore much of Woodstock, most of our time was at the Hotel or traveling to/from a wedding. The traffic did seem to run smoothly and things were well marked.

Can't beat the affordable location with mountain views and small town feel. There were fast food and convenience stores closeby. The quaint local restaurants and things to do made it a great getaway. Its close proximity to the highway and other cities you may want to visit.

We were traveling from NY back home to NC , wanted to stay mid way not far off the highway . Had not stayed in Woodstock before and decided to try it. we did not have enough time to really explore, but what we saw will make us come back. We ate at Cracker Barrell, one of our favorites when traveling and the staff there was exceptional.
I am booking this hotel again. We travel from New England to Florida regularly with our 60 lb. dog, and this is the only hotel we've really really liked. It is right off the highway, the dog rooms face the central yard, and every fast food restaurant you could want is practically in the parking lot. The rooms are comfortable with all the amenities you would expect, clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice. A definite keeper for us.
The room was comfortable and in a convenient location to the fairgrounds. We went to the fair on the last night to see For King and Country. We like the fact that the hotel wasn't directly by the fairgrounds. There was no traffic noise. It was only about 2 or so miles down the road and away from the bulk of the traffic. The price was good. The staff was friendly. We would stay there again if we go back to the fair next year.
Good location just minutes from downtown. Spacious and light filled lobby and breakfast area.
Nice room with a comfy chair and ottoman, desk & chair, fridge, micro, keurig, iron & board, big TV. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I like that the hotel is in the back, away from the main road so it's quiet - no passing traffic. The hotel is always clean and front staff are welcoming and accommodating.
