My husband and stayed three nights here and absolutely loved it! Our hosts were lovely and gave us a big delicious breakfast each morning. they cooked sausage, egg/omelette, with a feta like cheese, fresh fruits (melon, apple, apricots), byrek or fried dough balls (I forget the name of those!), fresh yoghurt, jam & honey. The mountain tea was yummy and I’ve now got a supply of ironwort to take home! They also made us coffee. There are no facilities to make your own drinks but with such a big breakfast (& any leftovers you are encouraged to take with you - so we had picnics for our days out too)! The view from the front door is lovely, the rooms are big and comfortable, and there are two toilet/wet rooms…like a his/hers for a couple! The bed was very comfy and the outdoor seating area was so nice too. We could park our car inside a garage when we weren’t using it which was good. The owners live upstairs so we’re available if need but they weren’t intrusive at all. You have your own entrance. The garden is pretty and one morning a pine marten actually ran through, right over my feet as I was sitting there. Magical!! We highly recommend staying here!

Marbi Guest House is conveniently located just below the square where the old bazaar begins. It is a large stone house with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen and dining area, a small patio attached to the master bedroom and a large rooftop terrace. It is spacious, clean and an amazing value for the price. It has a fully equipped kitchen. Marjola and her husband were so kind and gracious. They met us at the square, handled our luggage,drove my husband who has mobility issues to the house, and checked in frequently to see how we were doing. We loved the city of Girokaster and the ease of exploring it from Marbi Guest house. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic location with a nice view of the mountains, especially from outside. Very friendly hosts who brought us homemade local food without us asking and even spoke some english. Apartment was clean and roomy (at least for 2 people) with a relatively well equipped kitchen.

Clean, and very spacious rooms with a majestic view. Very comfortable for 8 people (my friendgroup and i). The kitchen was fully equipped, the shower always had hot water and there were enough sheets and blankets for all beds and sofas. Not far from the city centre and the owner of the house was extremely kind and helpful!

Bellissima casa al secondo piano di una villetta familiare. Qualche incomprensione sul prezzo al nostro arrivo, risolta velocemente. Accoglienza buona ma tiepida, un po' lontana dallo standard delle altre strutture albanesi.
