A relaxing retreat away from the city, the hotel is a 10-minute drive from the historic Yangshuo West Street. Rustic wood walls, tastefully Chinese-style decoration and classic works of art add to the charm of this property. Exquisitely decorated with extraordinary taste and attention to detail, the tea cozy hotel was the nicest hotel we stayed at in China. It was dramatically different from all the other hotels in Yangshuo. It was perfectly located and very comfortable. Hannah and the other staff couldn’t have been nicer, providing breakfast and advice on local attractions, performing a tea ceremony for us, and setting us up with electric scooters. In addition, it was ridiculously inexpensive- although it would was off season.

The hotel consists of Qing Dynasty buildings that have been beautifully restored to preserve the historic character. All the rooms feature local-inspired décor and traditional furnishing. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Fantastic hotel with a lots of historical character and very friendly staff. The owner is lovely and we enjoyed listening to the stories of how the hotel was ideated and built. So much thought has been put in every detail and they really managed to bring the old village houses and courtyards back to life :) Food was delicious and well priced. Location is perfect - very calm and relaxing, yet waking distance to the river and a number of coffee shops/small restaurants. Thank you for a lovely stay - we will be back for sure!

It is located in the middle of Yulong village and its building dates back to the Qing Dynasty. Beautiful ancient house. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (equipped with electric blankets, which we appreciated in cold December!). Very warm welcome from the hosts, delicious food and a lot of activities available to discover the surroundings. We will be back!
