Loved it all, the staff, rooms that were perfectly clean to afternoon complimentary drinks. Would recommend but it is a short bus ride to city which is absolutely no problem as bus is across road and come frequently.

This was by far our favorite stay out of the 4 properties we visited in Japan! The room we stayed in was beyond beautiful, timeless, and comfortable. After coming from a small hotel in Tokyo, this one left us with our jaws dropped. From the entrance you’re greeted by a large open space to leave your shoes along with any luggages you brought. The room was so large, definitely was not expecting based on what we paid. The beds were so comfortable, and two of us bathed every night in the tub. Very classic, traditional mixed with modern! Truly a luxurious stay at an affordable price. Beautiful and convenient location as well to the stations. If you don’t book this stay, you’re missing out!

Featuring a shared lounge, terrace and views of river, リヴェルト京都鴨川 2020年3月1日オープン is located in Kyoto, 1.9 km from Kyoto Imperial Palace. The hotel is a small boutique hotel located by Kamogawa river, close to subway and Eizan railway. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and always willing to help. I have been to Kyoto many times but staying at Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa had definitely made this trip even more enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel provides different local sweets and snacks everyday in the room so it’s always a surprise what I come back and find. The amenities in the room is well equipped with superb quality. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re ever in Kyoto and wish to stay somewhere away from the busy downtown. Look forward to stay here again in the future. PS. Crosta deliver my luggage to the hotel since I arrived very early in the morning. Then it’s hassle free to wander around without dragging the luggage to the hotel before check-in time. 교토 내 사쿄 구 구역의 최상의 위치에 자리한 Giappo Franca Kyoto에서 머물러보세요. 숙소는 쇼렌인에서 1km 내, 헤이안 신궁에서 14분 거리, 기온 시조역에서 1.2km 거리에 있습니다. 이 2성급 호텔에서는 에어컨, 전용 욕실, 무료 Wi-Fi가 완비된 객실을 이용하실 수 있습니다. Felt at home as this is not a chain hotel so the staff were kind and polite, but seemed friendlier and intimate. They have a large manga section that sets the "homey" atmosphere, and they have many recommendations/booklets about restaurants, activities, and sights around Kyoto for that month. This was in a location that is somewhat off the road but if you're okay with walking an extra 5 minutes, then it's a great place to be. The bus stop from Kyoto Station to Ginkakuji Temple is located nearby and situated in a way where you can avoid some of the crowds awaiting the bus near Gion. The Sanjo strip of activities/shops that leads into the Nishiki market is a fun day activity. Furthermore, the Sanjo station is nearby if you want to take the Keihan Main line all the way down to Osaka for the day (43 mins).

I booked a suite with garden river view and got a complimentary upgrade to a Panorama suite. Beautiful interior and wonderful feeling floating above the river. I was a le to see the mountains and shrines beyond. The manager Rio was so kind to book all our restaurants. The high season is super busy, but we haven't missed a single thing. Excellent location and very near my favorite Shrine, Shimogamo Jinja. The other days, we hiked up and down the river, lovely places and restaurants in the neighborhood. For sure, try the local deserts offered.
