Located in Kyoto, within 600 metres of Shoren-in Temple and 1 km of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Fufu Kyoto provides accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests... The outdoor garden was amazing, the dinner and breakfast was fantastic, and the staff/restaurant servers were so incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. The staff was even able to accommodate a massage with last minute notice. 10/10 experience would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- has a fitness centre, garden, a restaurant and bar in Kyoto. Loved it all, the staff, rooms that were perfectly clean to afternoon complimentary drinks. Would recommend but it is a short bus ride to city which is absolutely no problem as bus is across road and come frequently.

Set in Kyoto and within 500 metres of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Rinn Niomon has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. This was by far our favorite stay out of the 4 properties we visited in Japan! The room we stayed in was beyond beautiful, timeless, and comfortable. After coming from a small hotel in Tokyo, this one left us with our jaws dropped. From the entrance you’re greeted by a large open space to leave your shoes along with any luggages you brought. The room was so large, definitely was not expecting based on what we paid. The beds were so comfortable, and two of us bathed every night in the tub. Very classic, traditional mixed with modern! Truly a luxurious stay at an affordable price. Beautiful and convenient location as well to the stations. If you don’t book this stay, you’re missing out!

Featuring a shared lounge, terrace and views of river, リヴェルト京都鴨川 2020年3月1日オープン is located in Kyoto, 1.9 km from Kyoto Imperial Palace. The hotel is a small boutique hotel located by Kamogawa river, close to subway and Eizan railway. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and always willing to help. I have been to Kyoto many times but staying at Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa had definitely made this trip even more enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel provides different local sweets and snacks everyday in the room so it’s always a surprise what I come back and find. The amenities in the room is well equipped with superb quality. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re ever in Kyoto and wish to stay somewhere away from the busy downtown. Look forward to stay here again in the future. PS. Crosta deliver my luggage to the hotel since I arrived very early in the morning. Then it’s hassle free to wander around without dragging the luggage to the hotel before check-in time. In a prime location in the Sakyo Ward district of Kyoto, Giappo Franca Kyoto is situated less than 1 km from Shoren-in Temple, a 14-minute walk from Heian Shrine and 1.2 km from Gion Shijo Station. Felt at home as this is not a chain hotel so the staff were kind and polite, but seemed friendlier and intimate. They have a large manga section that sets the "homey" atmosphere, and they have many recommendations/booklets about restaurants, activities, and sights around Kyoto for that month. This was in a location that is somewhat off the road but if you're okay with walking an extra 5 minutes, then it's a great place to be. The bus stop from Kyoto Station to Ginkakuji Temple is located nearby and situated in a way where you can avoid some of the crowds awaiting the bus near Gion. The Sanjo strip of activities/shops that leads into the Nishiki market is a fun day activity. Furthermore, the Sanjo station is nearby if you want to take the Keihan Main line all the way down to Osaka for the day (43 mins).

Situated in Kyoto and with Kyoto Imperial Palace reachable within 1.8 km, Kamo Residences by Reflections features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and... I booked a suite with garden river view and got a complimentary upgrade to a Panorama suite. Beautiful interior and wonderful feeling floating above the river. I was a le to see the mountains and shrines beyond. The manager Rio was so kind to book all our restaurants. The high season is super busy, but we haven't missed a single thing. Excellent location and very near my favorite Shrine, Shimogamo Jinja. The other days, we hiked up and down the river, lovely places and restaurants in the neighborhood. For sure, try the local deserts offered.

The location and the map that they gave me, it was super helpful. The owner were so nice and explained everything in an easy way. The room has a beautiful view.

Hospitality: Very kind hosts who helped me with my travel plans for the next day including creating my itinerary and providing the train times to get to my next destination. 2. Hospitality: Greeted with tea and snacks to enjoy while getting tour and safety briefing. All things labeled in Japanese and English. Tea and coffee in room and towels in bathroom. 3. Cleanliness: Super clean and designed well. Top floor is guest house and couple lives downstairs. 4. Great view: Overlooks temple out the window and transitional Japanese homes.
