Everything was just so great in this hotel. They have very nice scenery and beautiful onsen. The breakfast and dinner are both delicious. We would like express our gratitude the staff at the hotel. I have inadvertently left a down jacket at the hotel. They kept it nicely and helped me to send it back home.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this ryokan - the setting is just beautiful, and the rooms are well-equipped and comfortable. The common areas are also furnished beautifully, and it just felt like a home away from home. Loved having onsen baths - both public and private ones - on the premises, and the location is just great (though Kurokawa Onsen is admittedly pretty compact and easy to get around in the first place). Staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to help. Could not recommend this place more.

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. My parents and I have the very great time in the hotel. The dinner and breakfast is very delicious. The waiters is very friendly and introduce very well. We want to stay here for the next time. The guest come from Taiwan.

Great location amidst the mountains of kumamoto prefecture, with the river it makes for a beautiful scenery. The onsens are great and there is even a swimming pool if you just want to exercise. Food is good, it’s nice to experience a traditional diner and breakfast.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. The place is quite magical, with all its little nooks to explore. The private onsens, there are 5, as well as the public baths are all very charming and peaceful. And to top it all the staff are so wonderful and very professional.

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring... Everything; the hospitality of the staff, kaiseki in private dining room, the room, and private onsen.

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Room was spacious and comfortable. Dinner was beautifully presented, with a hit of fusion elements, and every dishes tasted great! Outdoor onsens were beautiful. The staffs were also very kind and friendly.

Only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Kurokawa hot-spring district, Ryokan Ichinoi offers Japanese-style accommodations with Japanese Yukata robes. Good service and nice food both Dinner and breakfast

Kurokawa Mori No Kiki se află în cartierul Kurokawa Onsen din Minamioguni, la 41 km de Muntele Aso și la 49 km de Lacul Kinrinko. We travelled to Kurokawa onsen Mori No Ki Ki by driving from Kumamoto, it took us about 2 hr. The staff (or the owner) was so kind and willing to facilitate and keen to support us nicely. We were so much impressed and appreciated. The house was so clean, the onsen was good. Home made bread was excellent. We suggest the visitor should come before the evening as to see the sign clearly. The sign showing the accommodation name a bit small comparing to the others, so you may miss when it is dark. The rest are excellent, if you like peace and relax with warm heart, you may like this one.
