The host (Richard) went above and beyond! Beautiful place, easy to meet other people in the communal area, close to some great beaches in the north. Outside of town but a quick motorbike ride is just 50 pesos. Hopefully I can make it back here someday :)

You can book the excursion with them, they give you tips about restaurants, things to do etc. Also, they will call your tuktuks when you need it. Very social hostel with great vibes. Very clean and comfortable.

Featuring a garden, ALTHEA BIRDS NEST INN is located in Moalboal in the Visayas region, 24 km from Kawasan Falls and 19 km from Santo Nino Church. There was a 24-hour service at the reception area and they were so accommodating, they even let us leave our things at the place first when we arrive at 5am to proceed with our tour.

MAAYONG HOSTEL is a quiet and chill hostel in Panagsama road in barangay Basdiot, ideally located 250 meters from Panagsama Beach & the famous sardine run and 2 minutes walk from the bars, restaurants... It’s not a party hostel. Very chill ambience, nice common area. There are yoga mats and board games. The hostel is pretty quiet after 10 pm. Good wi-fi. There is a kitchen where you can order food. Clean bathrooms.

D & N LODGE in Daanbantayan provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. It was possible seeing that the host really put love in the hotel, there were small deitals that made the difference like the breakfast, getting into the run with the ac turned on before, good soap, nice hosts

Situated in Cebu City, within less than 1 km of Fuente Osmena Circle and a 18-minute walk of Ayala Center Cebu, Peach Haven features accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the... The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The owner is such a lovely person! I really enjoyed my stay here, totally recomend.

Situated in Badian, 14 km from Kawasan Falls, Banamboo features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The property was taken care of well! While the location could’ve been better, the fact that the property is quite far from main roads helps ensure the quietness and full relaxation of the guests.

Located in Moalboal, 1.5 km from Panagsama Beach, Pig Dive Hostel Moalboal provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I like everything here. They have everything, even the air dry machine for drying your clothes, the large place for hanging clothes.. It's further from Panagsama beach than the other hostels- dont worry! The shuttle car will take you to the center of the town every hour ( or if the car is available, they would pick you up/ take you right away). The price is so affordable: 420peso for a bed in 6-bunk bed room and 520p for 4-bunk bed room ( I booked only one night in Booking.com, which is 100p more expensive than those prices, than extended in the hostel). I was worrying about the mixed dorm, but luckily there was only me in the whole room🤣 They have 4 super cute white dogs. They have many toilets and bathrooms They have the area for cooking by yourself The reception area is 24/7 Next time, I still choose this one. This is the 1st hostel that I give 10/10.

Chief Mau Moalboal Cebu has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Moalboal. everything! the rooms were super clean and spacious. I love that the top bunks have their own private stairs to go up to them. so much easier than a ladder. also, handy privacy curtains. The little cubby hole next to each bed was super handy - it had a bedside light and space to put you book, water bottle and charge your electronics. The food was also delicious - really recommend the soya pulled pork rice bowl and a San Miguel Pilsen. Great that was free drinking water you could use. Bathrooms were super clean and right next to the dorm so was easy to get to. the location was excellent. Just a short walk from the beach to watch the spectacular sunset. Also right next to an ATM and lots of restaurants and cafes. I would definitely stay here again
