Monterey Bay Aquarium
This aquarium resides where sardine factories once stood. Now, the site harbours an ocean’s worth of species. The main exhibit’s huge single-pane window is all that stands between you and four million litres of water. Watch schools of fish scuttle away from lurking sharks and lurching turtles. For fur-filled underwater acrobatics, swing by the sea otter zone at feeding time.

the aquarium is beautiful and the sea life is amazing but they don't limit the number of people in so you are packed in like sardines the whole time with people elbowing you. You have to push in and wait in lines to see every exhibit.

Took my 83 year old mother to the aquarium and we had a delightful day! Would strongly recommend arriving early! We had to make reservations before going and opted for the earliest entrance and were so happy we did because were able to get in quickly, get a wheel chair easily and had no problem manuevering around crowds. By early afternoon there were many people and we were done by 3 in the afternoon and were able to go eat down the street afterwards.

Loved visiting the aquarium.
Loved visiting the aquarium. The sea otters alone would make it worthwhile to visit. Got some interesting views of the deep water environment and the strange sea life that inhabits. Close to some very good restaurants.

Really pleased with this visit.
Really pleased with this visit. One of the biggest aquariums I have been to. Feeding the sea offers was fun. Feeding time in the huge aquarium with deep sea fish was very entertaining. The other exhibits were fun. Disappointingly there were no sea turtles despite there being pictorial information available.

Loved the location. Close to our appointment but also the Monterey Bay Aquarium which we went to.
Also the room was perfect for a simple sleep and getting cleaned up kind of stay.
Everything went well. The staff were welcoming. We came to see the Monterey Bay Aquarium, our first time. The staff was able to inform us of everything we asked. We will stay at Bayside again and again.
The front desk staff was super helpful. The view was beautiful and we love the location. We only stayed one night but it was perfect for us. We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Location was amazing. Very short walk to cannery row and to the Monterey Bay aquarium. Lots of shops and places to eat within walking distance and a huge antique store nearby.
We love how we were close to everything such as Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey Bay Aquarium, etc. The housekeeping did an excellent job on restocking items we needed everyday!
The rooms we got were huge with a nice little courtyard in the front. Most surprisingly was there was a gas fireplace which kept the room toasty and a treat during the chilly Monterey nights. The location was great and easy to access Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The grounds are amazing and beautifully kept. It reminded me of a Spanish Villa. There was a large terrace in the middle where you could enjoy your coffee and breakfast in the morning.
The location is perfect for walking to the Fisherman's Wharf and within a mile scenic walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The room was very clean and the overall hotel was lovely and offered everything we needed.
I enjoyed the hotel because of how close it was to the several places my girlfriend and I wanted to visit. It was less than an hour away from Big Sur, Monterey Bay Aquarium,McWay Falls, and Mt. Manuel, where we went hiking. In short, we were able enjoy all of these and a few extra stops along the way.
