Charming place and very good halt with nice people and good food in my bicycle ride midway between Pragua and Slavkov. I really enjoyed the evening, the night and the generous and qualitive breakfast. Definitely will try to stop again if on my way.

A lobby bar is featured and a freshly prepared breakfast is served each day at Hotel U Labutě in the centre of Žďár nad Sázavou. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property. We were in Zdar for our annual visit with friends who live there. We couldn't get our preferred Airbnb so we booked at the HUL -- a place we'd noted on our previous visit. It will stay on our preferred list since it was such a positive experience on many levels. The rooms, baths, and breakfasts were very satisfactory and stress-free. The staff was professional, helpful, and kind. The lunches and dinners at the co-located Poppet were excellent ways to learn about the local cuisine. The location in the heart of the town makes it walkable to much you'd want or need in Zdar. It even has a fine long view of the Zelena Hora, Zdar's signature site.
