Located in the Écrins National Park, in the hamlet of Ailefroide, a famous climbing site, Hôtel Engilberge is a family-run hotel set in a large park with garden furniture. We couldn’t get closer to the alps! We loved the location!

This hotel is situated at the heart of the traditional mountain village of Vallouise, just outside Ecrins National Park and 10 km from Puy Saint Vincent ski resort. Well positioned for us as we were walking the GR54 Tour of the Ecrins.

Set in a 3000 m2 garden, l' Edelweiss B&B Chambre d'Hôtes is located in Vallouise just 2 km away from the Pelvoux Ski Resort. Guests can cross-country ski from the hotel and rent skis on site. Very good value hotel in a beautiful location. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Situated in the Ecrins Nature Park, this hotel features a big park with deckchairs and a children’s playground, a spa bath and a sauna. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are available on site. Location fabulous, staff extremaly helpful, the hotel little run down and requires substancial renovation, in particular the rooms, bathrooms, beds. But the place has its great charm and I will return there.

La Paille, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Pelvoux, 14 km from Puy-Saint-Vincent, 23 km from Serre Chevalier, as well as 37 km from Montgenèvre Golf Course. Really exceptional experience from start to finish! It is a lovely property in a good location. It was clean and comfortable with a modern heating system that kept a nice level of temperature at all times. I arrived soaking wet after a long motorbike ride in the rain and the host took my wet things and hung them in a warm room to dry. The next day, the host was very chatty and showed me a popular biking route on the map... I changed my route and followed his recommendation... it was amazing. There was such a lovely atmosphere. I would really recommend this to anyone; families, lone travellers, bikers... it's great.

The breakfast and hosts were amazing! The view from our room was incredible and location was close enough to town. We plan on staying again!

Auberge Saint Antoine features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Pelvoux. Located around 23 km from Serre Chevalier, the inn with free WiFi is also 36 km away from Montgenèvre Golf Course. Auberge Saint Antoine is beautifully located in the heart of the National Park Écrins. The icing on the cake was definitely their own restaurant, which serves great French Cuisine at a high level. the staff, chef was super friendly and nice.
