It was very easy to go to Sainsbury's and buy some items. What an excellent base to have a look at Galloway and it was very easy to find my way around. I need to return and explore the surroundings even more.

This was our first trip since COVID and we had some special needs that our hosts graciously accommodated. Best place we stayed during our vacation.

In town for a wedding and it was so nice to stay dor a few days in a beautiful room and house with a nice garden and very comfortable bed/linens. Breakfasts were delicious and little conveniences in the room like our own kettle and teas/coffees were very nice. We were upgrades to the larger room because No one had booked it and it was such a nice touch! Very conveniently located to Galloway Forest Park as well, and we were given a good tip to head to the Crachan inn nearby for a really delicious meal. All in all a perfect stay and would highly recommend! The owner was so sweet and personable and it was a pleasure to be there.

It has everything you need for an overnight stay when adventuring. Absolutely stunning views and wildlife to be seen all around.

It was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and a brilliant location with proximity to Wigtown and Newton Stewart as well as excellent views (especially at night). The hosts were very communicative and welcoming, providing lots of great info about the area and kindly helping when we accidentally left an item at the property. The rooms were all comfortable and cosy, and electric blankets on the beds were such a nice touch as well. The hosts also left us some gifts such as a ginger loaf which we thought was very considerate. Overall, we felt that a lot of effort had been put in to ensure we had a good stay and it definitely made a big difference.

Well thought out apartment with modern feel in traditional setting. All spotlessly clean and well maintained. Good heating and hot water. Great garden area (though I understand it is a community garden). The adjacent Community Village shop is lovingly cared for and very well stocked. Good arrival instructions and getting the keys couldn't be easier.
