This hotel has a fantastic location, with a beautifull surround environment. The rooms were fantastic, with the key requirements to our family and fantastic view. Dinner and Breakfast was excelent, with a lovely attendance of all personal. A last minute decision when accommodations on Skye were unavailable. Great decision! The stay included a free tour of the distillery. We also booked dinner on site and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Lovely pastoral setting and water views. Our room looked newly decorated, clean and fresh, very comfortable. Breakfast was also quite tasty — cooked to order. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Atholl House is situated in Dunvegan and features a shared lounge. The property features free private parking and free WiFi. The staff was super friendly and warm people. The room we stayed in was quite small but very cosily furnished. The Inn has a very cute living room on the first floor with a fireplace, some books and board games where you can relax and staff can bring you drinks.

We were a group of 3 doing the whisky trail and ended up on Islay. What a wonderful property to stay at, on the island. The hotel is in a very good location, very near to the Port Ellen Ferry terminal. There are restaurants, a pub and a convenient store nearby. We had the family room which had 3 separate beds and a folding bed. The room was very spacious, well appointed and clean. There was plenty of natural light and the windows are very well placed to allow for cross-ventilation. Heating in the room was perfect. The bathroom is fairly large and roomy, very clean and had all basic amenities like body wash, shampoo, overnight kit, etc. The shower has fantastic water pressure and hot & cold water are seamless and the controls easy to manage. The beds are quite comfortable and offered a very good night's sleep. Although, the property is right by the main road there is hardly any disturbance from the street below. There is daily housekeeping and it's nice to come back to clean sheets and fresh towels. Excellent choices available for breakfast, which is a table service, but unlimited. A lot of pluses staying at this property.
