Situated in the picturesque village of Inkpen, the Crown and Garter is a traditional English pub with stylish rooms, a restaurant and bakery. It opens onto a lovely garden. The reviews for The Crown and Garter are really good, some say it's a good place for one night.. I'm looking forward to going back for longer and using it as a base to explore the area. I was really impressed with the service, food and facilities. Very well priced for what they're offering. The food is really good and the bedrooms are really comfortable, with every convenience thought of. The courtyard outside all the rooms is a beautiful place to sit down. We enjoyed some local walks and taking some treats with us from the bakery. A really friendly place with a lovely little dog to welcome you!

Rooms separated from main pub area. Very clean and spacious rooms. A bathroom you can move around in and several electrical outlets. Very easy parking and access. Clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

On the banks of the River Thames, The Swan, Streatley, Berkshire is set in a picturesque Berkshire village and dates back to the 1700s. It features a terrace and free WiFi. The property was comfortable, clean and in good order. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Easy access to the room and ample parking space.

The Bear Hotel is a historic inn set in the charming market town of Hungerford in the heart of the North Wessex Downs. We arrived very late cause of a delay, but their welcome made us forget the delay! Never seen friendlier staff, so helpful. I could not say anything bad about our stay here! As for the location, it was very beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. We really liked the old fashion style, with a modern touch. I forgot my E-reader and they notified me straight away and made sure to send it to the Netherlands. That's why they deserve the full 10 points for service as well, it's hard to find staff as friendly and helpful as the people working in this hotel.
