The Lamish feels like a combination of quality hotel and 'grown-up' youth hostel, as everyone is cheerful and interested in meeting the other guests, sharing Mestia and Ushguli tips, etc. It's just a very nice atmosphere, and one that is established, first and foremost, by the owners/hosts, Rolf and Tamara. They are very professional yet fun and genuinely interested in everyone that stays with them at the Lamish. The included breakfast was good - bread, meats, eggs, sausages, coffee, etc. The number of hotels and guest houses springing up in and around Mestia is crazy these days and it can be hard to know what is good value and what is like a mystery motel. I can assure you that the Lamish is spendid and you'll feel like you're home. Their location is also perfect, a block removed from the main road and all the restaurants and shops. Very nice and very fairly priced!

The staff are very responsive. The breakfast is lovely. The hotel had a terrace on the top floor with a beautiful view around.

Müdürleri Keti , Mestia çevresindeki muhteşem manzaraları görebilmeniz, şelale ve glazyerlere gidebilmeniz için gereken ne varsa yapıyor. Ben Mayıs sonu gittim. Henüz seyahat acenteleri açılmamıştı buna rağmen Keti'nin kişisel bağlantıları sayesinde başka otellerde kalan yürüyüşçülerle Ushguli ve Mazeri köyleri yakınlarındaki tüm yürüyüşleri yapmak mümkün oldu . How to get there: Mestia is approx. 210 km from the airport in Kutaisi. There are numerous ways to get there by minibus. We chose the convenient option and had the hotel driver pick us up at the airport; travel time 5-6 hours depending on the season. The airport shuttle was very well organized. This applies to all communication in the run-up to the trip. Questions are answered quickly. The staff speak (and write) English. The location in Mestia: The hotel is on the edge of the town, just 5-10 minutes' walk to the center. If you don't feel like walking after long hikes or skiing days, the hotel offers a free transfer to the center. Trips into the mountains or to the Tetnuldi ski area can be organized. The rooms: Either with a view of the mountains or the village with its towers (all rooms with balcony). The rooms are newly furnished and very spacious. This also applies to the bathroom. The beds are of super quality and large. Comfortable armchairs in the room, plus a table. The housekeeping crew is simply great; towels are changed daily. In terms of cleanliness, there really isn't the slightest complaint. The hotel has a large pool (free of charge) and a private sauna (for a fee). Both facilities are very spacious and we highly recommend using them. The staff at reception (and some in the restaurant) speak fluent English. Requests are fulfilled gladly and in a friendly manner; the atmosphere in the hotel could not be better. The breakfast is very varied and absolutely meets European standards. Exception: Caviar is rather rare here in Germany (even in good hotels). The moderately priced restaurant is characterized by a large selection of international and local dishes. Here too, 5 stars! We were in Mestia at the end of the winter season (end of March).

Uşguli'de, Tarih ve Etnografya Müzesi'ne 41 km mesafede yer alan Hotel Tekla'da ortak salon, ücretsiz özel otopark ve restoran bulunur. Nice place with amazing views around. Tasty home made food, good wine and friendly staff. We felt like at home. Biker friendly. If I have a chance I will visit it again.
