There is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, where you are mostly alone, with the exception of a few locals that walk by every now and them. As is in Gambia, they will most definitely talk to you. If you like fishing ask them to arrange a fishing trip and then bring back the catch for BBQ,. Around here there is also a lots of birds to see around this area. Evergreen is a beautifully designed & tranquil oasis, with lots of personal touches. The food was authentic & delicious. Greg is a coffee-connoisseur providing us with ample, real coffee! We cannot wait to return, & will stay for much longer next time.
